That's what's nice about being a tanking char - u get less nubbishness. Tho healers who don't heal are still a pain :P. And mages who constantly steal aggro faster than I can taunt it back.
What I hate is when I pug it with my feral druid and I'm tanking and I get "res pls" or "innervate pls". (it's usually res). I then find the time to type "I'M TANKING". If I am feeling very cruel (ie this dungeon run is hopeless) I pop out of bearform :P. Wiiippeee.... I've had it before where ppl refuse to CR and want a druid res, whereby I explain I'm saving my res for sometime better. One person believes this saves armor damage... Correct me if I'm wrong but u still get the 10%
Also the nubs who constantly ask for a res when dead, even if I'm not the one that it's aimed at. Wait ur flipping turn. If I lvl up my priest more, that person who constantly asks (especially when in battle) gets ressed LAST. After I've read a page or two of a book. Most of the time I state - "Don't ask for a res - I'll do it when and if I can" to stop res spam.

Also - Many people have a number of tunes they play - when they play a Rogue or a Mage do they suddenly become smart.

Once you get to lvl 60+ u should know how to play ur class well. Or listen to advice.

That's what I love about guildruns - ppl will happily discuss tactics for 5 mins before a boss/interesting group and actually listen :D. This does help the tank's job somewhat if ppl know what the boss does. Initially I wasn't good at the dragon boss in HFR, but as I got to learn it, and lvlled, the job became easier.

i got pugged out in FF after having to apply for each party by providing a resume about my job levels and experience plus 13 reputable references and at least two recommendations from major LS's.

Ohhh boy I remember that. It was a pain in the *** too. The hours of sitting in Jeuno LFG... oh the memories..

Shamans who dont heal when its called for, no healing totems, mana totems.

There are no healing totems worth the Water Element slot. If I pop a totem in that slot, it's going to be my Ancient Water Totem (trinket), or my Mana Spring/FR totem.

Blizz honestly needs to change the tooltip on Mana Spring. People look at it and are like, "10 mana every 2 secs? wtf i have 6000 mana" and don't realize that 10 mana/2 is basically a free 25 mana/5. Not going to make or break a fight, but certainly better than anything else you can drop in the Water spot.

That's the level 60 Mana Spring btw, not the 70. I'd assume the 70 is quite a bit higher.

but yeah, classes have to be ready and flexible. i was partying once with a lock, and he was on the low side. the whole party wanted him to swap VW for his imp cause its pulling too much aggro at that level for that instance (i tink it was stockades) and he responded he didnt have squat in training on his imp. course the groups reply was that we didnt care. he eventually swayed to our will, i think just because he didnt want to be kicked. if i remeber correctly it later provd that would have been a good i dea to have him kicked

Usually if someone does display inferior tactics consistently they generally aren't good for the run unless the group can carry them. On the other side, if you have a reason for not following advice given to you, if you know your class better, please explain it to the group :). If someone points out your reasoning is flawed however, weigh it out for urself.

On the note of flexibility - there is a limit to it. I can off-heal/res/innervate when DPSing (cat) as I don't usually have aggro and have my aggro dropping cloak on (tho that relies on someone else attacking the same target). If I'm supposed to be DPSing but get aggro for some reason I also pop into bear if I'm dying.
The right trinket at the right time can make a difference in the new content :) Wish they were hot-swappable :P

Most good paladins will ask what type of judgement the group wants them to use (I prefer Justice), but there are quite a few that use Crusader, then complain to me that I can't hold agro when they're dropping holy damage like it's their job. You're a priest with plate armor, not a DPS class!

Ugh, never say that again, please. Sure, I see your point, we don't DPS, and we have decent heals, but let's not call a paladin a priest with plate armor, there is too big a difference.

By the way, I've come across many people that say Paladins can't tank (I'm not saying that you think so, Demea, I'm just saying that many people don't know how to treat a Paladin), when yes they CAN tank, thank you very much.

Our Rogue got wasted in two seconds when the dragon started spewing fire. I got wasted in ten. 7k health gone just like that *snap*.

Just a suggestion from a warrior but when that happens move out of the fire. It's ok to move while tanking.

You'd be amazed how well that works, made the diff between a wipe and success.
