Another thing to add, the real reason for all the bickering in EQ at least was when you died you lost EXP points, a small amount if you got a res and a large amount if not. Be glad the WoW devs aren't such Aholes.

I used to hang out a lot in Dulak, so I got wasted a lot of times, and even started a few of my own, always had my choo choo hotkey set up though.

The worst trains though were when trying to take a hedge raid through the plane of nightmare, someone would always cross the river in the wrong spot and wipe the unsuspecting raid.

Yeah, in FF11 everytime u died, u lost 10% of the XP u had gained durring that lv. I remember dying so many times in Valkrum, and in Garlage and Yuthunga/Yhoator Jungles. Crawlers nest wasn't so bad for me, but i remember de-leveling time after time. It got to me at around lv 20. Ill never forget the all the corpses complaining at whomever zoned the mobs.
Too bad WoW doesnt teach ppl how to properly pull. /Sigh

Not sure how FFXI XP was but at high end lvls in EQ, (70+) a death without a rezz could easily take 3+ hours of serious grinding to get back the lost XP.

When I first started WoW, I was told to type in /train. I thought to myself, WoW actually has a premaid macro for it? Cool, so I did it. I got a good laugh out of my little gnome running around making the motion with his arms going "Choo Choo, chugga chugga, Choo Choo".

I was so happy when I first started playing wow and found the /train emote...Just thinking about how funny its going to be to actually have a train and go "choo choo"....Sadly, I found out it didn't work the same as it did in EQ :(. Sometimes I really miss that game.

....so I guess I don't get the joke, but a Crawler's Nest train in FFXI sure did look humorous, especially when the one being chased was a taru with about 20 crawlers in tow.

even funnyer when in Crawlers Nest your Sneak spell wears off in while surronded by crawlers. XD
And as for whoever said dying in FFXI sucked because of the EXP loss...Reraise ftw!

You know, I have a minor speed enchant and curse of exhaustion for slowing down monsters. I tried zig zagging and apparently it doesn't work as well as stated here, if at all. I'd lean toward if at all, because it sure wasn't working for me. I'll stick to my curse if I have to get away.

The worst ones I saw generally occured at the Gunthak/Dulak zonelines. Someone would pull a train through the tunnels in Gunthak and zone into Dulak, only to run smack into a train that someone had pulled in Dulak. One day I think I spent 1/2 hour just zoning back and forth to avoid being hit by a train!

Oh yeah! I've played that particular game of "zone tennis" for quite a while.

But nowadays, this internationally ranked cheerleading coach just can't figure it out. Neil Patrick Harris? You confuse me. I HEAR you're gay, but there you are on my TV playing a normal, womanizing, cardigan-wearing straight. That's confusing. And then I heard a rumor you're not actually a doctor. So much sneaky gay deception!" --Sue's Corner
