You are automatically disqualified from rolling a ROGUE simply because you can't spell it.

Sometimes I can’t tell whether I’m reading the Allakhazam boards or Blizzard’s official boards. And yes, that’s meant to be an insult.

Did anyone really think he was asking about hunters and priests? How about hunters and paladins? Hunters and druids? If you really couldn’t understand what he was asking I’m amazed you can function in every day society. Believe it or not, it’s not a perfect world out there. Not everyone is perfect at spelling. He asked a perfectly understandable question. He even used capitalization and punctuation. I’ve seen posts that were painful to read, but this wasn’t one of them. And even when I come across those I simply choose not to respond to them.
I find it extremely rude to respond to posts such as this with spelling criticism. If you don’t want to answer his question then don’t. But whether or not he spelled rogue correctly is completely off topic. You people must have horrible social lives. I expect nobody wants to you in their company if all you do is criticize.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe youre wearing that shirt with those slacks.”
“Don’t you own a comb? Your hair is a disaster.”
“My god, your house smells like a cow died in it.”
“When are you going to buy a real car? This is a piece of junk.”

As already mentioned, both of your choices are popular ones. The only real problem with either class is that they are both so fun to play that there are no shortage of either when it comes to looking for groups to run instances. So it can be more challenging to find groups. But as I said, they are both fun classes so if you don’t mind a bit more challenge in grouping later on then by all means go for it.
Rogues are more of the in your face kind of combatant. They only get leather armor, but they kill fast so it doesn’t usually mater unless they get jumped by several mobs at one time. Rogues get to stealth, use poisons and pick locks. They can also pick the pockets of humanoid NPCs. If you like playing a sneaky character then rogue is certainly worth a try.
Hunters kill from range. They have a constant companion in the form of a pet. The pet gets the mob's attention and the hunter shoots it from afar. Playing a hunter is like always having a partner to take some of the heat off you when you get adds. Hunters get a faster move speed at level 20. They can play dead at level 30, which is a nice way to get out of trouble. They can also use traps that can help with damage and crowd control.
Ever class in WoW has something going for it. The trick is to find the class that is the most fun for YOU to play. So take your best guess and give it a try.
