Female Players? I know you Exist!Follow

On Lightning's Blade there are 4 of us in one guild, 3 of us are pretty much addicted to the game. I just want to prove to my guy friends who play that we exist. The fact that 3 of the 4 people know eachother in rl has nothing to do with the fact that we all play. The 4th girl may only have a level 15 mage that i whipped with a level 9 druid I made that day, that's not important. I just want all the girls to...erm...make some noise? I got to prove to my guy friends that my friend and I are not just some strange spawns of non-female, that not every girl hates WoW. It's like an online dating service I guess, I'd rather meet guys through WoW then randomly online, at least I know we share some interests...I guess. So, although there are few girls and a lot of sexually frustrated guys, I just want to see how many there actually are.

Well, I know three in my guild who are definitely girls. One is married to another player in our guild, one is dating another player in our guild, and one is our guild leader.

My guild has 4 married couples. 8-toon couples-only raids with TS are fun.

Haha! I will have that 5 dollars. WoW almost broke my boyfriend and I up. My rogue owned his Warlock and he wouldn't talk to me for a day, dueled me again, got owned again, and finally let it go like nothing happened. Now he gets mad if I bring up that he was angry like: "I was not, you're a rogue, you own PVP." Not with 3-4 levels of difference, I think he just sucks ;-P. Now he gets made fun of a lot, people ask him how it feels to get his *** kicked by a girl..haha.

I love it when we finish a raid and we see the "Hey Cass, thanks for the heals, and I've never seen a Pally keep the entire raid buffed 100% of the time. Nice work".

My reply: "Yeah, my wife rules doesn't she?"

That would be sweet, I don't think my boyfriend has ever been with a girl who was anti-video games (he's only had like 3 gfs) so he has no idea what it's like and just takes it for granted. I remind him all the time that most all girls would drag him away from his marriage to his computer, I encourage it, as long as it's WoW and not...Counterstrike..ewww.

At low levels, warlocks don't have many tricks up their sleeve to make up for a rogue's raw DPS, so it's no wonder you beat him. ;)

Also please keep that bit about WoW as a dating service to yourself, you'll only encourage them. I'm a female gamer with a male main character specifically because guys in game can't seem to play with both hands when I'm on my alts. (I think it's the pixelated breastessess.) For your little wager, my guild leader is female and I can think of, off the top of my head, 7 other women who play in my guild, and one from my previous guild. Might be a few more I know also who aren't open about their RL gender.

So that's a definite 10 more for you, total, including me. We all do Onyxia and MC too, we don't just treat the game like a colorful chat room.

No way i can think of a couple ways he could have got me (my friends warlock of the same level kicked my *** so bad). But anyway, I don't know why my guild leader/friends in rl think its so weird that girls play...I guess it's because the majority downright hate WoW and want to hurt their bfs for playing it instead of paying attention to them, lol.

I also want to mention that I have been asked if I look like my character...and that freaked me out really badly.

I am a female and have been playing since Christmas when my fiance got me my own copy so that we could play at the same time. At first I was mad at him, mostly because I am in school right now and I knew that this game would be very demanding of my time (and addicting), but now we have a lot of fun Friday and Saturday nights playing together and doing raids with our other friends from work. You never have to worry about not having a group with your significant other likes to play too.

P.S. Girls, if you are sick and tired about being whistled at in the game, try being horde. I don't know of any guys who's loins burn at the sight of a tauren that could knock them flat on their a@@. =) I have alts in every race, so I have quite the wide sampling pool and I actually feel that I am respected when I play the horde, rather than just oogled and asked to join groups just to be eye-candy.

Or play a male toon. We gender-bend, I play female, she plays male. She never gets hit on, lol....

Plus, I think most people have leaned that 95% of female toon are played by males....

Check out this website, plenty of pics, plenty of female gamers, all playing WoW.

If you can't click it then just type facesofwow.com into your browser. You'll want to go to "Gallery" and then to "Server Gallery to see the peeps on your server. Hope this helped, leave a comment on my pic if you like :)

Hello.

Now you know one.

Of course that might have something to do with my main being a Tauren Druid brute, not to mention that when her rl husband shows up in his guild-leaderly scrawny orc persona I quickly shift to cat form and make googlyeyes with both their pets instead. Smiley: wink2

I seriously need to get a SS of my rogue, she is so beyond ugly. I can't believe someone would ask me if I look like that char in RL and get all hot over it? That's just gross...ewww. My legs and thighs arent that gross and I certainly don't have green hair and long ears...Night elf **** is in don't ya know? I bet I could start an underground buisness in WoW trading naked photos of Night Elves for a gold a piece and make so much money..hmm...my rogue does need a mount here soon. Lmao

sorry i came in a little late.

I feel very sorry for your boyfriend. I am the same way. If my wife (you can count another) were to pwn me i would be very pissed. I get pissed when she scores higher than my mage on the damage meter.

I think, as women, you should take it easy on us guys. You know how fragile our egos can be. If you take us out... it hurts baaaaad.

Hehe, since i got the game about 2 weeks after him just to beat him in a duel and got addicted i dont feel as bad for him. He has 2 weeks ahead of me, he should be so far ahead of me level wise, but he is not and it's all CounterStrike's fault. Since he got owned the CounterStrike playing has indeed decreased, it was all for his own good.

no! wrong answer!

Man, he has it rough. The only thing worse than having a GF that doesnt play WoW, is one who plays and kicks your ***. I would seriously quit the game because of it.

Thats probably why i dont duel my wife. heh.

I mean, women pwn us at life, why cant men have Azeroth?

LoL, I didn't duel him, I was gonna wait until level 60, he was the one who was so sure we would whooop me. We do now group together and stuff and really WoW brought us together a lot. Minus that we yell at eachother for playing alts and I make fun of his gnome **** addiction (no he really doesnt have one) and he makes fun of me for 'doing it from behind' when it comes down to it nothing is better then yelling across the room that there is a ?? Shaman over there and taking it out together, ah the good times :).

No one cares about your gender in WoW. The lack of a ***** has no bearing on your ability as a player. No one will even know unless you flaunt it. So please stop making these ZOMG GIRLS PLAY WOW threads. Yes, some of us play WoW. Big deal.

Stop playing the mating game. It's a MMO.
