What would be the best addon to use in order to get actual coordinates? I've seen reference to Cosmos, but don't have a link.

Thanks in advance

Titanbar

Puts 'em right up on top of the screen for you to see all the time.

Cosmos and CT put 'em on the map page, so you had to keep opening that up to see it.

Take a map, lay it flat on the ground.

Lay a grid of lines over the map.

Those are your X,Y coordinates.

Any location can be found by going across the lines to the appropiate X and moving up the lines to the appropiate Y.

WoW's NPCs (and static items) are located at certain grid points (coordinates) on the maps.

Titanbar, and other such programs, will show you what X,Y you are at. Then you just need to move to the X,Y the NPC you want is at.

OK, dumb followup question, but how do I implement Titan? Do I just copy the xml/lua files to a certain folder under WoW? I don't see an executable or seem able to find other documentation other than a feature list.

All I really want to implement is the coordinates part.

Thanks, guys.

Same as most other Mods, there is no executable.

Find your WoW folder..

interface/addons/.....

put whatever folder the titan files comes in under addons

If you just want coordinates, you can get them without titan...

Curse Gaming isn't responding right now so I can't give you a link but...

www.curse-gaming.com, find the button that takes you to the addons, and then search for "location" or "coordinates".

If I recall correctly the simple coords add on has a name that starts with an 'X' but I might be mistaken.

I ended up downloading the Titan addon and...

I am totally amazed and impressed. I only wanted coordinates, but all the extra features are great!

Thanks for the info, and good luck in your game. Unless you are trying to gank me, in which case, bad luck. :)

To those who haven't checked into this yet, do. Its well worth it. I esp like the little exp meter that shows your exp rate and expected time until levelling. Neat stuff.
