Patch downloadFollow

dont stress about it... it doesn't work anyway. I'm currently doownloading it from blizzard - look like I have to do it the long way. I don't know why there is a version mismatch with this file.

Take it from me, it would be awesome to be a premium member. I am actually DLing the patch right now and its so slow I am going to log in to FFXI and finish a lvl on my THF.

Did you just download it into your WOW file and thats it? Did you have to do anything else? Are there any instructions on installing this, or can anyone help?

Got my Premium today and DL the patch, not into my WoW folders made dedicated WoWPatch folder, and used it. It said the patch was installed. Went to start the game and it goes throught the authenticating and handshakes and then it says unable to conect. Any suggestions on what I may have done wrong?

I'm going to try to download this monster from Alla's for my second box - it took 3 hours from Blizzard, thanks to their peurile bit-checking monstrosity that rechecks every #$%&%^*^&* byte downloaded to your box. They uploaded 75 meg of reports on their own 60 meg patch. This institutional paranoia is dreadful to watch, as well as requiring constant baby-sitting.

ok..I started this Download at 4 PM EST...and it is nearly 1am Now.. at 99% done. this is really stupid....Blizzard you all make a great game. You just need to get teh patching system together..

why cant you give it to all of us members? maybe we want to be able to get the patch too. it's hard enough just trying to download the thing with errors. cant you give us regular members a break?

my 17 yr old son decided he had to go into the router and open up some ports and such... great, he can do all that and yet doesnt know a usb cable from a cat5 connector!!

btw, while i was playing i was getting allot of error on screen, i imagine its due to me having cosoms not updated and running?

Like they said last time they did this, they don't have big enough servers to host it for everyone.

What would happen is someone would link this to the main forums and all hell would break loose and bring down the whole site.

If you head to the main wow forums you can find some links for other people who are hosting it.

The only problem with off site hosting is for people who try and run the updater it will take alot longer since you won't be sharing and there will be fewer seeds.

Any chance please you could cater for EU users aswell and have the EU full patch available for download as you do the US version ?

Just installed WoW on this computer which is on a 56k dial up modem...

holy sh*t... download on average from the blizzard downloader for me is 2 kbps!!

What the hell!?!?

It always goes down to 0.00 too.

Anyway... 19% in 6 hours... then got disconnected... then I said f*uck this, I'll download it somewhere else.
