Riale: Is not gay.
Ike: Is SMURTq (the q is silent only it's not and it's at the end), and has a Jerry Springer esque sister who say's yall and cusses a lot.
Drus: Is an Austrailian with manparts who talks too fast and doesn't laugh quite enough (Or really, I can't tell what with the accent).
Tek: Is gay. Really really gay.
Vamp: Can do a HEEHEE sound that makes grown men wet themselves in fear.

I think that is all.

Sorry, but Riale is gay ^.~ In fact, he managed to crash Illidan arguing it *laughs*

I didn't realize that Teamspeak had a sexuality meter on it.

Wow, much better than what I learned about my guild last night. I learned that my guild leader has a 12.6" *****. I know this because him and half the guild spent 45 minutes discussing it.

/sigh

In the process, through deduction, I also found out that half the guild is 13 years old and a bunch of liars and idiots. I cringe at the thought of listening to them through teamspeak.

/em starts looking for a new guild

yeah, I am not a big fan of teamspeak, I don't think I'm going to use it much just due to it totally ruining the fantasy aspect of the game.

I briefly used teamspeak when I played the game-that-shall-not-be-mentioned, and found it to be distracting and rather immersion breaking.

I loved being able to actually talk to my online pals, but it was difficult to play the game and do it. Too much concentration involved. Plus we usually just typed everything anyway, and the random chatter was pretty minimal.

I don't think anyone uses it anymore anyway.

I'd never use it on my roleplay server (very hard to play a character when you play a character quite different to your own personality), but I was bored the other night on Illidan (as I imagine quite a few of the other Trolls were *laughs*), so I thought what the hell? ^.~

I have never used teamspeak or anything like it for an MMO, but I think I would not like it. I agree that it would kill some of the fantasy aspects of the game.

Now, I used a voice package to play Call of Duty...was excellent when it came to our clan meeting another clan. verbal commands are great on fast paced games. I guess an MMO never seems to move so fast that it makes typing inefficient.

It does take a lot out of the fantasy aspects, but it makes doing things so much easier since you no longer have to waste time typing something you can say.

BTW seo, you can still get it, just dont have to talk =P.

Riale, admit it, how many times have you been ***-ganked by the alliance?

Actually, not that often. My assganker to assgankee ratio is probably something like 4:1.

And I never cared about getting rid of the fantasy immersion, so Teamspeak doesn't bother me much. Plus it saves my fingers for playing, which we all know is more important.

I'm not worried about fantasy immersion when I'm playing on Illidan with the Kharma Trolls *laughs* As people know, I usually play on Earthen Ring (a RP server), so a nice dose of people just relaxing and taking the **** out of one another (well, just Riale usually) is a welcome change *grins* When I want immersion, I'll play with my roleplay guild, when I want to just have plain fun without worrying if I'm in character or not, I can log onto Illidan and TS and listen to Riale constantly trying to convince us he's not gay.

(He is by the way *laughs*)

This makes me so wish there was broadband offered where I live at the moment. I'd love to join in on TS because I can just ignore it or turn it off if I feel it is too distracting, but sadly I don't know if it would impact my connection any.

Bob you might want to just try it and see how it affects you, since i thought it would bog down my already crappy comp, but it has had no adverse affect on me.

I'm in but I'm still having setting problems.

I'll get those ironed out and get a headset instead of this little mic.

Vamp say some stuff I need to see if I fixed them.

While I did enjoy TS for the most part, I'm not going to use it on a day to day basis. One simple reason, it completely changes your view of the people you're talking to.

Example:

Before teamspeak I like Rial, sure he was 15 and sure he has a thing for ganking, but he was amusing for the most part.

After TS: Rial just won't shut the **** up.... ever... he gives us the god damn play-by-play of his assganking. Oh and he sounds very very gay. Seriously he uses the word "prescious" but hates lord of the rings... ******* gay!

Anywho, TS is fun for the group chit chat, but it's not a good replacement for the guild channel. Perhaps I would have felt differently if Rial didn't feel he had to fill every silence. ^^
