how did he get access to the account?

ill give you a hint. in some guilds, especially amoung the officers, they share account information, especially if a guild bank is involved. hacked? rofl, how about "loged him on". and all the gm has to do is find the ip address assigned to the account when it was logged on and the events happened.

so, whos the dummy? the fool who gave out his account information to some teen in an online game. the person who needs to learn the lesson is the fool who shared his account information. just my openion. you see, incase you havent figured it out yet, kids do stupid stuff out of sheer boardom. most parents would understand that. and online games, while there are a large number of adults playing, are dominated by.....kids.

1. its a game. not a livelyhood.
2. your playing with kids mostly.
3. dont give out information ingame because of "2".
4. anything done ingame can be undone because of "1".

If it was my guild, i would be annoyed, at the end of the day i can just rejoin or what ever.

The point Elinda was trying to make imo, and the same one I hold, is that this incident is way old. By now, whether it has been resolved to anyone's satisfaction or not, you should drop it and move on.

A lock on this thread would be good also, as I see another 100 reply thread coming on, with nothing useful to add.

Yes it occurred this past Friday. The account info was given out to a total of 4 people. Darthorx and his Wife and the other leaders of that guild for use in raids. One of the guild leaders stepped down because of Slothman's intimidations (see DR's website about threatening the guild members, leaders, and officers). Once he stepped down Slothman made friends with him quickly, and convinced that prior leader to hand over his account info (for that co-leader not Nuemerous) in which he found the access for numerous in the EQ Inbox. We can speculate that this prior-coleader intentionally gave him the account info, we can speculate that something fishy was going on, but again that part is speculation.

From what Slothman's prior friends are telling, Slothman is a very convincing person in Ventrillo, he can talk an Escimo into buying icecubes, and promises a lot of things in which anyone knowing him for an extended period of time knows he doesn't deliver.

Instead of allowing people to be aware of what is going on, there are a few friends of Taaxi still around that wishes to keep it silent.

Taaxi has been a premium user of Allakhazam for about 3 years now, and hasn't made one single post? Thats right. His cronies have made posts for him however, but he refuses to come and meet the battle face to face.

And so everyone knows, the GM's have decided, Slothman was banned, with an unknown time period. We do know that Slothman's toons were deleveled to the 50th level by the GMs however as he did the DR Officer toons.

We have also since found out that Taaxi is struggling to cover his own tracks in this, their guild has cut a loss of about one fourth of the guild, many of the members that were in NL are running around Bertox telling people that the reason they left was because Taaxi and Slothman were in Ventrillo and guild chat the night before laughing as THEY were sacking the toons.

It would seem one of the necromancers sacking the toon was one of Taaxi's alts. It is also rumor that Taaxi is a GM/Guide in EverQuest. The rumor has come from his own prior members now and before it was ever rumored, Darthorx called the GM's out on their guild's website with last name changes there. They provided evidence and testimony from many in the Bertox server that the toon that was sacked had a last name change from "Lim'Dul" to "Corpses" (to read Nuemerous Corpses) to "Darthowned". As any experienced EQ player knows, only a GM may bypass the Last Name change timmer of 7 days (means once you change your last name the server will forbid you to change it again for 7 days). Being that no player can perform this act, there is a very broad suspicion, that I will allow the community here to hypothesize.

You can also see that the DR website has been polluted with members from NL both against and for Taaxi fighting right on their website. It also seems that their guild has removed about 50% of the posts because of content but nevertheless this guild is bad news because of its leaders and officers.
