Hot bars and misc.Follow

HOT BARS:

I did a forum search for hot bars (they were mostly on how to create them) I am having several problems with my hot bars. I have 2 hot bars up that are stacked so it makes it easy for mouse. My bottom bar is 1 to = and my top bar should be CNTL 1 to =. On my top bar so far I have lost 2 tiles (CNTL + and CNTL=) sometimes it goes away when bringing spells from spell book to hot bars. Currently I have some tiles that came down and are now sitting above my #1 button on lower bar. So I was wondering how I get my 2 tiles back that went missing and how I can uncover some of my main hot bar. ATM I can use my mouse on my CNTL hot bar but on my nurmeral hot bar I need to use numbers which slows the fight way down. Sometimes durring a fight my spells would change positions.

In the past I have had both bars with move icons so they would move all over the place and I could not customize my hot bars when I got new spells in my spell book I wished to bring down. It resolved it self.

Waypoints: I tried using way points and they really helped. I tried coping the /loc off the web site (and the button said copied) but I have not figured out how to paste the copied /loc onto my chat window.

Mage Range weapon. yesterday in BB my Mage got a range weapon that had similar stats as the bow, but it was not marked bow--- it did have damage and everything. Is this for throwing weapons? If so I does one throw it?(in EQ that had a range box) Can toons like a mage have some items in their Ammo slot that have the major stats om it?

This one I can help with, it's the standard Windows paste hotkey: While in game, press "Enter" to put the cursor in the chat window (where you would type to speak) then press CTRL-V.

Okay, I think I've got it. To get back your missing icons, press K for you knowledge book. Every spell you ever learn is there. Drag spells to your hot bar.

The reason spells would move during a fight is you don't have your hotbars locked. Find the "Frame" of them and right click for a manu. Lock it, and you can't move anything. Then you'd need to unlock it to re-arrange things.

As for the mage ranged weapon, think of it as a sort of wand. It sits in your ranged slot and lets you hurl tiny amounts of magic at an enemy standing outside of your reach(your actual spells will be doing a lot more damage, so those represent larger amounts of magic). Some mages dont like having wands like that equiped(theres a chance to break root for an inconsequential hit) and therefore go out of their way to find range slot items without damage stats, but if it works for you stick with it. As for ammo, ive never seen any that a mage would want. Ammo doesnt affect their weapons, and most(all?) of it only has stats appropriate for itself(extra range, stuff like that).
