I just started playing a few days ago and started 3 classes (cleric, Zerker & Ranger) to see which one I prefer. I went back 5 pages of threads to find info on my characters but had to get it even on the data base.

To start I played EQ for 9+ years so I thought I would try the free version to get the hang of things---- when I was playing EQ I reassigned auto attack to"a" as it is much easier to find in a battle. They had primary and secondary keys for the different actions. I was wondering if EQ II has the same feature (I could also cycle mobs easy)

I notice that my zerker get a lot of pet spells--- do they get pets?

I guess I need a detailed data base for all classes (that I can not find here.)

Also there is no help about heroic things--- what do I do when I get either circle?

Zerker's don't get pets, Summoners, Shamans & beastlords are the only classes that get pets as far as I can remmember.
For general class info check out eq2 flames you can normally find pretty reliable info there.

Our information on Classes starts here in our wiki: http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/Category:EQ2_Subclasses If it seems a little generalized it's because SOE tweaks things a lot :)

"Heroic Opportunities" - every spell you have has an additional symbol. When you see an HO symbol that your class can do, use a spell/combat art with that symbol to advance the HO. The most powerful HO's are ones advanced by multiple classes.

To search for stuff in the wiki (where all the guides are) use the site search in the upper right instead of the database menu. Or look under the "wiki" menu above.
