When you mouse over a bag it shows a list of items alphabetically, anyone know if there is a way via ingame or via addon to withdrawl items from a container via a list like that? It's waaaaay easier IMO to find crap that way rather than having to mouse over each and every icon. 248slots, sometimes it take me forever to find a random quest item, very annoying.
Even an addon that would put items in my bag in alphabetical order would be fine.

Nope, you can't remove things from that list. What you can do it use the inventory search (it's on your Equipment Tab near the overflow slot) to find something. It'll give you a specific bag and slot. Even if it's in your vault or bank.

Yeah I know but that's not the functionality I'm looking for. I want something similar to the system in Rift where you type a name of the item and it highlights it for you in your bags. That or like I said an option to display my bags as lists as opposed to the grid with little pictures.
It's not available as port of the default UI. You might check EQ2 Interface, maybe someone's done it :)
