I have collectively played Everquest 2 for roughly 5-6 years since 2006 (off and on for different stretches of time). Release after MMO release, I still have not found a game that "sticks" with me like this game has. It is my favorite MMO all around. The only game that has an equal or possibly greater significance would be FFXI. Only because that game was one of my very first MMO's (the nostalgia is hard to shake). I have read some grim posts regarding the state of Everquest 2, via their official forums (which of course I take with a grain of salt) and was wondering what the ZAM folks think in respect to the current state of Everquest 2?

I have been thinking about making yet another return. I had played as recently as December, but had uninstalled the game (I had two clients on my computer). I cannot find the full client download anywhere on their (EQ2) site. I was wondering where I may be able to find the complete download, as I really do not like playing while streaming (due to the lack of performance and visual glitches (items being downloaded on the go)). In addition, I was wondering what server some of you folks play on? I have played on Antonia Bayle (Necromancer 90) and most recently, had started a brand new account and leveled a second Necromancer to 90 on Freeport when it was Extended. I have been very fortunate to have come across some very nice people whom have helped (running dungeons, grouping, advice) so much over the years. I sometimes enjoy the solo aspects of the game, but nothing beats being apart of a quality guild that actually interacts with each other. With that being said, upon my return I was thinking about the possibility of starting anew, with what past knowledge I have, and going with a single character (with intention of maxing out level, tradeskill and AA). So, I am open to any kind suggestions in regard to that.

Overall, I still have unfinished "business" with Everquest 2 as I still have yet to max out a character with AA... In addition to just plain missing the "feel" of this game. Housing, Appearance slots, classes, races, etc. Looking forward to playing again!
