Freeport QuestionFollow

Quick question.. I'm trying to start a Freeport character.. unfortunately, I can't select Freeport as a starting city. I get all the other evil cities, just not Freeport. Is it bugged on my end or do I need to submit a petition? Thanks!

Freeport or Qeynos were removed for starting cities some time ago now... :(

As long as you're evil, you can live there without doing the citizenship quests. Just FYI.

If you start in Neriak or Gorowyn at 20 you'll actually be prompted to go check out Freeport. Changing citizenship to Freeport is really easy (don't betray!)

You can still move a character to freeport, at least I could.

I made a gnome defiler and started in neriak and just ran into neriak and ported to the docks, went to freeport (automatically got the go to jade tiger inn) quest upon zone in. and just went to sunken city and the sprawel and started killing lvl 3 stuff.

There are quests still in 4 zones, sunken city, the ruins, the graveyard and the sprawl

You can do the same for qeynos and go a starting city..but they will re vamp qeynos in the summer.

I agree I wish you could use Freeport or Qeynos as starting cities. While it is not to hard to swap, it is just more of an inconvenience.

I am having a problem with changing my citizen ship, I can't find ambassador zrelch, I have eq2 maps but the location is wrong or something. Can anyone give me the correct LOC or give me a clue on how to find him, thanks for any help you offer.

He's still in the general area he used to be in (sort of), but they took down the building he used to be in, so he moved across the way a bit. It's still East Freeport, best thing to do is ask a guard.
