There is no specific addon for that. Most people generally use EQ2maps because it has all the waypoints for anything you'd need anyway.

I have used EQ2Maps from the start but since the expansion they aren't working anymore. Once I download the new content and press "auto play" it pulls up the old SOE launcher that has nothing to do with the game anymore.
Is there a link to a new version of this to go with the new launcher? I miss my maps.

Did you change the file pathing for the executable file? Since there is no eq2.exe and its launcher.exe now you may want to make sure you have it pointed at the correct file.

EQ2 Maps works just fine in game without launching EQ2 from the EQ2 Map application as well. I occasionally run the EQ2 Map app to update my maps but I have never launched EQ2 through it.

I never use to launch from it before but I just can't get it to work. What Dyadem said seemed to be easy but I still need to figure it out because it's not working. I really miss my maps. There is no "Launcher" anything under my Program Files / Sony / EverQuest folder to send it to.

Something I'm missing?

I'm supposed to change something here, eh? Lol

Under the section for "Auto Launch EQ2" ..make sure the file path is pointed to something similar like this:

C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest II\LaunchPad.exe ...that should make maps able to open eq2 after its finished updated (you dont need to have the actual auto launch selected, I do not).

Aside from that I wouldnt know

I completely give up. I have a Sony folder and a Sony Online folder. Both have either
LAUNCHPAD.EXE.dmp
or
LaunchPad.exe.bak
but nothing else. It just doesn't work. Thanks though. Sounded easy enough!

You might post over on the eq2 interface forums for help.

This is what I do, too. I update EQ2 Maps whenever there's been new content added to the game and that's about it. I just launch the game through its launcher.
