Primal tactics on beastlordFollow

I am almost embarrassed to ask this:-) What do they mean by saying your pet levels from journeyman to adept etc by using PRIMAL TACTICS. Is this an aa line or what.

Thanks so much:-)

You can use both "advantages" and "primal tactics" to get your pet to increase in rank.

Go to your character/persona screen and click on "Warders", you'll see a gauge/bar at the top that says "Journeyman", when that bar reaches a certain percentage it will increase the warder's rank (i.e. Journeyman to Adept). You just need to kill a whole lot to get it to increase.

Start attacking mobs and the weakness symbol will appear (a big blue paw on your screen), when it does you will need to use one of your "advantages". Just keep doing that and it will eventually the warder's rank will increase.

Also note that you won't see the blue paw or your advantages until level 18 and primal tactics at level 20!

Thank you so much. I have been using the keys upon the blue paw showing up now for 10 levels including in heroic opportunities. Also, I have been using the same pet as well. So at level 28 should I not been seeing at least a tiny amount of increase on my pet? The only thing I received on my pet is 3 aa points.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help:-)

It seemed to take quite a while before my pet rank increased on beta. I never saw the progress bar move either to be honest.

A couple more question then I stop pestering you:-) Does it matter which animal you have up in order to level it? In other words does it have to be the one you start out with or can it be any warder? And do you have to level each individual pet on its own from journeyman to adept or does the level automatically apply to all my tamed warders.

Thanks again for the help. I have a six 90 toons and never had that many questions with any of them:-) This class is fun to play though even if it has a learning curve:-)

It can be any warder. Each individual one has its own ranks so if you're switching warders frequently that could be why you haven't seen an increase yet. Stick with one and it should eventually get there. :)

Just saw someone say that they don't level up until after 30! So that might be the issue as well. :)

Hello again:-)

Just an update that another beast lord might find useful. After reaching 30 and doing the lore quest in BB for the beast lord you get a charm. Once you activate it you pets get automatically a boost. My pet that I used the most became a grandmaster pet and the other ones are journey man. At this time I pulled out one of my other pets to level them. This is a VERY slow process. I counted 30 kills yellow mob to 1% increase on your warder. (I turned off exp and grind for AA:-))
So from what I can see is that each race needs to be leveled individually. If you tame another animal but from the same kind feline etc, the points transfer.

I hope this will help fellow beast lords:-)

Thanks again
