Zam crashes EQ2 in game browsers

I think it is the size of some of the content. (X Y)

Crashes browsers using Profit, Drums, and the default. The result is not recoverable.

Are there specific pages or even ads that you know of doing this? We've tried to reproduce this ourselves and haven't been able to.

Also, the unfortunate fact is it might be something we can't do anything about. EQ2 uses an ancient web browser and haven't updated it. If they would bring it more up-to-date that would be wonderful for everyone involved, and I strongly recommend feedbacking that in-game.

However, any information you have on specifics would help and we can at least pass on the info to our zam devs and see if anything can be done on our end. :)

I've also seen people saying this site crashes them, but when I use the ingame browser (set to eq2.zam as the home page), it works fine. I don't have premium, the ads are showing, so I don't know what it could be.

Pretty sure it's flash related. It's only certain ads that cause it to crash and it's not only ZAM.

Yup that was my thought as well from what I've heard in the past about the crashes. I've tried like crazy to reproduce it and I just can't. =\ I really suggest more /feedback in-game for them to upgrade their browser!

We've tried and tried to reproduce it. We can't make it happen. I know that's not the answer you want, but we can't fix what we can't reproduce.

Hey, how much memory do you have?

There's not much we can do about it until they upgrade from that ancient version of Mozilla.

It's never crashed mine, however, I can never use the "copy" feature for locations (doesn't seem to work).
