So, I just started a guild and so far it has been great.

Of course, everyone is trying really hard to writs and such to get leveled up, but every single time I go to get a writ it's the same one. I mean, I know that you get different tasks, but with the same quest name.

I'm a level 59 Temp and i'm getting them from NQ and Elder Grove. And it's asking me to do writs in the Sinking Sands. So, the only experience I'm getting is when i'm turning them in.

I've talked to every other Guard and they just say things like "Your guild has done well" and such. So, is there someone else I can talk to, or am I stuck with these ones?

There are 4 different factions that hand out quests in Qeynos. There are the two you mentioned (the tree house in Eldar Grove and the castle steps) but you can also get quests from the mages in the tower located in SQ and also from the priests (around the 'spaceship') in NQ. Each of these groups represents one of the four 'original' arch-types in the game - priests, wizards, fighters & scouts. You can also turn in your status drops for guild status in these same 4 locations.

If you choose your writs carefully, you should be able to get mobs that are in the same general area or sometimes even multiple writs for the same mobs.

Also you don't have to just do Qeynos writs. Go pick up some Kelethin and New Halas writs also.

At level 60 the Kingdom of Sky writs should open up as well. :)

Thanks! It's a good think I can come on here and ask nooby questions. :P

Speaking of which, I have a few more for anyone that could answer them...

I see a lot of low level toons with mounts.. and not a five plat mount either, are they buying them from the market place or something? Or maybe I already answered my own question.. I think I saw some mounts that were not No-trade, so could they just be possibly switching them through their characters?

And one last question is there a forum or guide that can tell me which Quests offer mounts? -- Thanks again to anyone who can answer!

Each newbie zone (Greater Faydark, Timorous Deep, Frostfang Sea and Darklight Wood) all have mount rewards during their quests now. The mounts usually are around the level 15-17 range of quests. There's also marketplace mounts and Moonlight Enchantments (monthly event from 20th-21st) have mounts with charges on them that only cost one event token. They've also added some mounts to tradeskill quests over the past year as well. :)

If you scroll down to the bottom of the link I gave at the top all of the known quest reward mounts are listed there. Mounts like the Neriak Destrier are the newbie ones. :)
