Incorrect. Mages can equip one dual wield weapon, but they cannot equip two dual wield weapons at the same time.

If all classes can duel wield then why won't mine? I have a lvl 23 sk and I can't get a weapon to go into the second slot. Both weapons say duel wield capable. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone that can equip a dual-wield weapon can equip it and use it. However, a class may not have a Dual Wield skill, allowing them to equip TWO dual-wield weapons.

So Mages can equip a dual-wield dagger, but can't equip 2 dual-wield daggers because they don't have a Dual Wield skill. Unless a SK has the Dual Wield skill, he can't equip 2 dual wield weapons at the same time.

Dual wield weapons will do less damage, but are faster. This pretty much equals out the damage output for DW versus One-Handed versus Two-Handed. As a weapon gets slower, it's damage increases.

However, when you hit faster with DW and have a proc buff, you have a better chance of the proc hitting since you are landing damage (although smaller) more often.

To summarise the answer, Berserkers, Guardians, Bruisers and Monks are the fighter classes that can Duel Wield. Sorry I don't know all the levels. Smiley: smile

That's awesome!

I tried the Trial of the Isle, even though I did pre-order the game once it came out. I didn't like it much, but now... Oh boy, so much cooler than WoW in so many ways.

I know in my heart I need to be an Ogre Berserker, dial-wielding axes. It's my calling. :)
