Came back yesterday!Follow

I decided the other day to give EQ2 another go. While I still plan on playing WoW, I am going to switch back and forth to break up the repitition of playing one game alone. I would like to say that I was pleasantly suprised!

First of all, I have been away for quite a while. I left about last Christmas, a couple of months after launch, and I was not really liking the state of the game at that point. Encounters were being made harder to slow progress, many items were bugged, and some, like poisons, were nearly worthless, since you could not know exactly what they did.

So now, food has good explanations, I have not come across one broken item or quest, the interface has been fixed to give the full playing screen, instead of those horrible black bars that used to be at the tops and bottoms. I am very nicely suprised at how this game has come along!

My question is this, though: One of my major beefs with EQ2 was the way that selling was done. I did not like how you had to stay online, in your house to sell things. But, I asked someone yesterday if you still had to do that, and they said that you did not! I could just put the item in my vault, price it, and leave! But how do I put things in the vault? Was this person right, that you do not have to be online to sell items? If this is true, than that is one of my major gripes gone!

Thank you!

Correct. You no longer have to be in your room or even online to sell.

To access your room vault, enter your inn room and right click on the door. Choose access and select room vault. The room vault window will appear with 2 slots. You can place any bag or box in these slots for more space (I have a pair of 24 slot boxes in mine). Place whatever items you want to sell in the boxes and you're almost home!

To set prices and begin selling, open your sales board and select the vault tab. Now set your prices and click the tab that says begin selling from vault, (or something like that).

Once you leave the room, your items will appear on the broker for the next 24 hours. Return to the room to reset the clock. When you return to the room, any cash from items purchased will drop into your character inventory.

Good luck and good selling!

When you are inside your room, right click the door and select Vault. You will see 2 storage blocks pop up for you to fill.

The smart adventurer will place two teak strongboxes (24 slot) in there expanding your storage in an insane way. The items you place there and set a price for will remain for sale even after you leave your room, but only for 24 hours. After that, the items will be removed from the broker sales list. To get them back on the sales list, just log back on, but you don't need to re-enter your room. When you re-enter your room, you will hear a cha-ching! if anyone bought your stuff.

When browsing the broker, you can tell who is offline by looking at their name. If it is just the name with no location, they are offline.

Damn Spike TV for distracting me and allowing OBD to post first!

But I thought you did not have to re-enter the room to reset the clock. I could be wrong...
