Was anyone else aware of this? This came as a total shock. Not too much, except for some patches and...a cool goblin gamblin' game! This sounds like a lot of fun.

They made invisibility better and stronger, much to my dismay. Yet another way to make the game easier. /sigh

Hmmm... I never considered the invis ability on my ranger to be all that big a deal... true the aggro outline almost always goes away when you do but I always figured I was gonna fight those critters whether thay hated me or not... So I usually just invis for long enough to satisfy the stealth requirement of some of his skills and attacks. Never spent any serious time in that mode... Maybe I'm doing something wrong...

As a very-weak-armor Conjurer, Invisibility is a key way to get through a zone untouched. I've even used it to complete quests in a matter of minutes with no fighting as I just sneak to where I need an update then run out. That same challenge would take hours for others with no inviso, fighting and dieing the whole way through.

I believe that's called inviso-through-content.

They didnt make invis stronger, only better. Yes players can go around dungeons just getting clickies, but the run speed never stoped that, so removing the debuff doesnt change a thing.

Overall invises are still weaker then before update 13. With more mobs seeing through it, and the increased level range where greens will throw you out of invis and get you killed.

Yea, I tried to get to the Sol Eye teleporter when going through the long underground part with stairs. I was quickly surprised when I was spotted and killed in 3 hits.

I opted to just leave mt shard there instead of begging for a group for endless hours. :(

Oh, and I also had a shard inside the final room inside Merigles Menagerie. That shard also stayed there. :(

I find the best thing to do when I die like that is just to play an alt. I find deaths like that frustrating, and the break from that char gives me a chance to get over it without the chance of something similar happening again.

Speaking of the LU, I noticed today as I was killing crawlers in Lavastorm, that my main root spell, Quagmire, now has a 45 second duration. It used to be something like 10 or 15 seconds.

Maybe it was a stealth upgrade, I haven't really dug through the LU14 details...but I'm not complaining. :)

I wouldnt complain or mention it to much, it is probably a mistake. They were probably working on the spell and put the wrong duration in, but have fun while you can.

***edit***
I was playing on my conjurer, and noticed my appIV root had a 30 second dur, it just my be a silent buff of roots.
