I agree on the agi/sta, the guardian is supposed to take hits. The real tanks will never be able to do as much damage as classes such as predators, and aren't meant to.
Agi is good for dodging, and Sta good for hp, but dont forget that STR is the only stat that effects how much POWER your guardian has. IE it's like Wis to a templar, agi to a scout etc. More power, more taunts, damage, buffs etc.

They didn't, it's just called agi (it's consolidated into one stat) :)

I have yet to notice STR affecting damage. A gnome hits for the same amount as an ogre.
STR = Power(fighter), weight capacity
AGI = Power(scout), Dodge, Hit
MND = Power(Priest/Crusader), Magic resistance, Magic effectiveness
INT = Power(Mage), Magical damage
I *ASSUME* that later down the line fighter's comabt arts will require more power making those races with more power more effective.
