Harvesting tools - how to use them and are they worth it?Follow

I found them on merchant - are they worth it? whats exactly their effect and finally how do I use them

At this point, I dont see any benefits for them. I have the same success/fail rate with or without them. However, still too early to say, higher level stuff may require them.

Still kind of a pisser that they aren't requirements. Would have saved a lot of time trying to get my skills up to 40 for tier 2 resources on Antonica. So many people just randomly picking up stuff in the New Character zones out of curiousity. Made getting my skills up much harder (despite the fact that resource nodes in those areas are sometimes a little too quirky).
