Hi,

I have a Bard (Scout class) that is does an awesome job of dual-wielding at this time at level 13. You need to find weapons that have a Dual Wield capability. Daggers are dual wield, I just outfitted my Bard with a Rapier (I believe), and a dagger, as well as a fitted bow and arrows to pull long-range targets. Single pull NPCs such as Bears, Wolves, and (solo) Sabres are an easy target. You will find that if you try to combine a Primary and Secondary weapon, it won't work. I tried, and have found that Dual Wield is the only kind of combination that works. Primary weapons were settling nicely with shields, but when I used dual-wield weapons, my hit-to-damage ratio was so high, it was phenomenal.

What is the point to having primary and secondary wield weapons if you can't attack with both? Is it for the stats or something?

All you have to do is get two weapons that you can use that say dual wield on the examination page...you whould then be able to put one in primary and one in secondary...if you have a weapon that says One-handed for your primary slot you won't be able to put a weapon in secondary slot no matter what it says, BOTH must be dual wield...hope this helps

I know that if you want to dual wield, you have to find an item that say dual wield in the wield type under item description. These are usually daggers and other low damage, low delay weapons. But what is the purpose of a primary and secondary wield weapon?

I can't Dual Wield as a Crusader, maybe I will be able as a SK but for the moment, I can't (tried with 2 dual wield weapons).

Mages can ?

Priest can ?

Well, what's going on exactly ?

mages cannot Duel wield but if they Equip an 0- damage item in secondary slot like an orb or wand it looks like they are duel wielding. did for me at least :)

Clerics and mages do not dual-wield. You're just seeing animations that look like dual-wielding because they've got items equipped in their off-hand. Look for the hitspam from their second weapons. You won't find any.
