Looking for Old EQ Friends?Follow

I saw a post today about someone looking for people from his old guild in EQ. Now, while one post isn't bad, I'm sure there will be plenty of other posts as soon as people start finding this board.

My solution, should you choose to keep bumping it, is to try to confine all the posts of people looking for old friends in one thread. I know it probably won't happen, but if we can keep the majority in one convinient place, they're less likely to get lost in the mix.

The minimal amount of info you should have is character name, server, and guild. Post that info first so that people can easily see it and skip your post if they don't know you. Then post a short paragraph, if you want, but keep the info stated above first.

I'll start with an example below.

Guild: Mark of the Black Frog

There were lots of great people in MotBF and I left suddenly, about a year ago, not really letting anyone know where I went or why I was leaving. I'd like to get in touch with a few of them if they are comming to EQ2. Croak, if you're out there, PM me. =)

I googled something to the effect of "avatars" and came up with a page that had it on it. I honestly don't remember what page though... hehe

I was Fealix Theecat - 55 Beastlord and a member of Tavern Heroes on Karana. I am wondering if Toadlicking (aka Bagdreg after the GM's mad both of us change our names) will be playing.

Heh...it worth a try

Vixin Platinumfox
Level 33 Ranger
Bristlebane Server

I started playing and became part of the guild 1999-2000, I would play for a few months and then disappear for a few more so that my guild always changed names, but sending a tell to my big Ranger brother always got me back in. I quit for good without making any announcements late in 2002. Its been so long I can't remember anyone's names. If you think you know me, please send me a tell. I would love to be found :)

I was a member of two different guild in EQ. One was all about the higher level players selling items to the lower level ones.

And the other had no team loyalty at all. As in a group of us went into a dungen, got in a tight spot and we all got killed. So we all went in for our bodies. As soon as a few of them got thier stuff back, they left those of us that were defending them without helping us get our bodies back. the three of us that were left to die, did manage to get our stuff back after loseing a level or two, and promptly quit the Guild.

I'm hopeing that I can find a Guild in EQ2 that will have better morles than the ones I described.

Name: Antsy Bearfriend / Xylung Swifttail
Server: Erollisi Marr
Guild: Azure Mist

Name: Gwaelin Tantegel / Raxtull Mortissaurus
Server: E'Ci

Basically, the only thing that will get me to play this game is if some of my old friends start playing. I'm very happy with FFXI, and I still have some of my friends on E'Ci to hang out with, so there's not much reason to buy and play this game unless I have some of my friends around to play with.
