NQ Robe:
Card Moogle Locations
South San'Doria: (J-9)/(K-9) line
Northern San'Doria: (D-8)
Windurst Woods: (K-10)
Windurst Waters: (F-5)
Bastok Markets: (G-8)
Bastok Mines: (I-9)

Moogle in the starting nations will give you a card, and tell you to find someone with a "[Job] in the [X]'s". For example "Find a warrior in the 50s and hand the card over kupo!"
It is easiest to find the people via shout, or /sea region job lvl-lvl

Once you find the person, ask them to trade the card to the moogle. They will most likely recieve Sparkling Hands. If not, they will receive "Dream Robe." I got my Robe when trading my fourth card to the moogle- I have read someone got their robe on their first turn in, though. **You get your robe by being the FOURTH person to trade an individual card in, it doesnt matter if it is your first trade, as long as it is the cards fourth***
Robe on Taru, Elvaan, Mithra, Hume

You will get four cards from the moogle, before you start over. Like the summer event, there are no penalties for having to start over.

Notes:
-Save the fireworks!! You can use these for Smilebringer quests!
-You can only get one card per VD day.
-If you are having problems trading, it is because the person already has the card (remember, they are Rare)
-Other confirmed gifts from moogle are chocobo passes! (Can be used on any job regardless of level - good for leveling 10-14 jobs in the dunes!)

The different kinds of cards are:
Pleiades
Capella
Sirius
Rigel
Betelgeuse
Canopus
Aldebaran

Suit Theorys:
First theory from Totz from Bahamut >> 100% proven!
(1)Talk to the moogle get a card.
(2)Trade the card to the job and lvl it ask's for, have that person trade it to the moogle, then have them trade it back to you.(1st trade)
(3)Talk to the moogle to see what next job is.
(4)Trade it to a person with then next job, have them trade to moogle, then trade it back to you.(2nd trade)
(5)Talk to moogle again for next job requirment.
(6)Trade it to person with that job, have them trade to moogle, and then trade it back to you.(3rd trade)
(7)Now when you talk to the moogle for the last time he will tell you that you need to give the card to someone that has a job in a level range that is equal to one of the job's that you have.
(8)Swich to that job, trade the card to the moogle.(4th trade)

Robe +1:
Not much is known for sure about this - but after you receieve your first robe, the moogle then tells you the card is for the [insert job] at [level range] who is wearing red.

I have spoken to a few people with the +1 robes, and they said that it is exactly like the first part (For NQ) except you just need to receive it from someone wearing a robe, who has a "red" card.

*** One person with HQ said it would be worthwhile to note they had been in two cities ***

Smilebringer:
Smilebringer Locations
Northern San'Doria: (D-8)
Windurst Waters: (F-5)
Bastok Mines: (I-9)

You must wear your hat to give presents, if you do not have one from last year, buy one from a Moogle vendor for 10k.

The Smilebringer will warp you to another area after you distribute presents if you have enough joy. Collect joy in one of two ways; first, by trading the present the Smilebringer gives you to child, and second, by trading fireworks to a child. (Fireworks can be obtained from NPC moogles or from the card event)
Joy message.

After trading approximately 18 fireworks, I talked to the Smilebringer again, and the NPC turned into a pirate, and gave me a present to give to a kid. The present gives you "barrelfuls of joy to the children of Vana'diel!"

Smilebringer theory:
Kittyn pointed out you can outpost warp anywhere for only 10 fireworks from your local NPC teleporter. Fireworks seem to be different for each nation.
San D'Oria Fireworks = Sparkling Hands
Windurst = (Need information)
Bastok = 10 Brilliant Snows

Dream Hat +1:
Once you have a regular Dream Hat (from last year or from moogle) and you place a tree in your layout, the next clock reset (next day Japan time) you will get this message.

When you check your invetory, you will have a Special Present. You cannot open your present in your mog house.

Once outside, open your box. A firework show will commence, when its over check your invetory, and ta-da! You have your very own Dream Hat +1

Notes:
-Your tree and nation do not need to match: (You can be from Bastok, have a Windurstian Tree, and still get a present.)
-You only need to have one tree in your layout
-You *MUST* be in your regular moghouse, not a rent-a-room!

How many times do you have to repeat this quest to get the Vest? Once in every city? Once with every card?

Whenever you trade a card to moogle, you get a card of the same type.
This leads me to believe you get the robe when the card you trade has been previously traded some number of times.
I heard somebody say its if the card has been previously traded 3 times.

I haven't heard that theory, but it would make sense, especially since he says he has four cards..

I was lucky enough to get my rob on the first card I traded back in. Once I put on the Robe and asked the Moogle for a new card he gave me some new info. He said something along the lines of "OH! I forgot to tell you all these cards are addressed to adventurers wearing red!"

Not sure if its related to the Dream Robe+1 but I wouldnt bet against it.

Ok walkthru to get Dream Suit.

You need to keep track of the original card of that you recieve from the moogle.

Congratz you now are the proud owner of a Dream Suit.

This was discovered by Rubicant(Bahamut), verified by Totz, Tearshang, and Shiznicle.

Happy Holliday's and good luck to all.[b][/b]

I like the theory, except I kept track of my cards and I didn't use my original card to get my dream suit.

And, the card I got my suit on was a 50s - while I was on a lv30 job.

All I did was give my card away to someone who needed it. They trded to moogles (don't know what they got).

I got a friend that gave a level 10 warrior card, and I changed to my 13 warrior and traded it.

I got my Dream Robe.

ok, about the smilebringer quest. I didn't trade any fireworks. This was in sandy. He just gave me the kiddy present and said to give to the children. Wonder if how many cards you trade affects it too, cause I traded like 6 (bad luck on my part)

That doesn't dispove Totz's theory...Totz posted a sure-fire way to get it from the start.

What we can assume from experience and what the moogle says is that the same card, on fourth trade to the moogle (that is, having gone through four people and moogles) yields a Dream Robe.

But with random trading, there's always a chance of finding a card on its third trip, thus giving you the robe on *your* first trade.

if your the lucky person to be trading the card for the 4th time, then you will get the Dream Robe.

What I posted will allow you to get the robe for sure, without having to wait for that random chance to get a card with 3 trades on it allready.

That's a good point. Put 2 and 2 together, and it makes perfect sense. Someone was talking about how the cards have a sort of "counter" built into them. The counter goes up every time it's traded. If the card is traded to a mog after so many times, no matter who it started with, the trading person will get the robe.

SO, the first theory and every other theory in this thread tie together... You just have to draw the line and connect the dots. No theory disproves any other theory.

I totally misread his post ^_~ But now I see what he is saying, and I agree - I thought he meant that no matter what thats the order you had to go in ;)

But anyways, the fourth time does seem to be the charm xD!
