Even though its hard not to think about the tragedy in Japan right now (and to a lesser extent not being able to play FFXI). But the one good thing to come out of all this is that a lot of us has some (or "a ton" for the hard core players) free time on our hands now. So lets see what some of you have on your to do lists!

Mine:

Moar kendo - usually only go to practice once a week and plan around LS events...now I can go all week.
Netflix/Hulu + queues - Damn things are endless, might try to knock them down a bit
Get caught up on anime/manga - 5 decent series I started this season, need to get current on them.
Replay Black Ops - Kinda rushed through it first go around.
Platinum FFXIII and Assassin's creed Brotherhood - or restart each of these...good games.

Sleep and not worry about farming seals/+2 items - most important...self explanatory....

Laundry, dishes, garbage, springish cleaning. Then perhaps edit more ffxi vids for youtube. But this morning will be LAS.

edit: wonder what the tally was gonna look like.

Gonna be playing the hell out of Dragon Quest 6 even more than I already was, probably.

And if that doesn't hold up, I'll probably go pick up Pokemon B/W.

Will be playing Pokemon White as i have been for the past week. Spending time with the girlfriend even more now too since its supposed to be nice all week. Fyn i definitely recommend them. I'm having a blast playing it, i haven't had this much fun playing a pokemon game since gold/silver.

Oh, I'd get it eventually, but right now I'm just more interested in DQ6. Up until the DS release, it was the only main series DQ game that I'd yet to play.

Both are excellent choices. I got my revenge on the bonus boss in DQ6 just in time for Pokemon B/W to be relased.

I myself will spend this time playing White or finally getting around to Arkham Assylem.

Minecraft!!! Man that game is a lot of fun. It's currently in beta but amazingly addicting. I'm also taking the time to get some household chores done today and tomorrow I'll be spending the day at a friends house. I also have Golden Sun: The Lost Age for my GBA to play, although the new Golden Sun on the DS entices me. I kinda wanna grab that and play it soonish. I'm also gonna get some good sleep time in the next few nights. With my hellish work schedule I can certainly appreciate an extra hour or two of sleep in the evening.

I just got to 50 on Rift earlier this evening (well, it's morning now, but I haven't been to bed yet~). I anticipate time spent playing that will basically involve finishing up quest lines, working on capping my weaponsmithing/mining/foraging, and running various instances for gear and notoriety/fame. And if I'm not in the mood for any of that, I have a number of DS games to poke at as well the option of Netflix'ing from my 360. Also have a bit of an anime backlog I could watch.

Looks like RL things for now. Clean up the house and wash the clothes today. I have to get my lawn tractor working so I can cut the grass here. I'd have gotten DragonAge II but the price changed my mind for now. PC version is 60 dollars atm so I'll wait till it drops a bit. I still have a lot of Anime to finish watching so that will be on the plate when RL stuff is done.

Debating now! It's funny that as much as I play FFXI to the exclusion of all my other great entertainment options, I don't mind when I'm forced to not-play FFXI. It's an opportunity to enjoy other things and not worry about what I'm missing out on or 'should' be doing in Vana'diel.

There is a short list of games I can't be allowed to play because they become all-consuming. Minecraft is one of them, Melphina! Might get into that a bit more, or finish Mass Effect 2. I also have a couple games I never even started, but bought and set aside for a rainy day. Now that I've got a 'rainy week' on my hands, it might be time to play FF12, FF13, Muramasa: Demon Blade, or the first Dragon Age.

Supreme Commander :)

Also catch up on BSG, I never really watched it when it was on the box but now i am currently on Season 4, last few episodes. Great show to begin with but then felt like lost during season 3 and then felt like a Politics show during season 4... but have to finish watching it so I know how it all ends. No F1 for 2 weeks, Football + gf kept me busy this weekend (Manu won! :D 2-0 love it).

Now home alone so will have to go through some old games or do some over time work. And not forgetting my night out on friday coming :)

I've got some housekeeping to do, and I plan on transferring a lot of files from my old pc to my new one.

I may try the WoW free trial, just so that when I disparage it, I'm not doing it out of total ignorance.

I have a cross stitch I started many years ago for a friend that I wanted to give her before she graduated from vet school. Well, she graduates this May, and I am still only 2/3 of the way done. So cross stitch it is.

Being back for only a week, this isn't going to affect me too much. I'll just do what I did before, watch TV and crochet blankets. Although instead of working on Christmas gifts (I like an early start), I'm going to donate them to be shipped over to Japan.

Funny how most of these responses are about playing other video games or watching more TV, lol. Get outside people! It is spring time, after all.

I would but my yard is a swampy mess. Most of my free time is when the baby is asleep so I multitask while listening to the TV. I am hoping it'll dry up soon out there though, I miss my morning coffees under the tree listening to the birds before work.

For anyone wanting to donate blankets etc. I have been told to keep them simple and easy to clean since water is often a problem. Blankets and 'health kits' are usually good things to donate if you are inclined.
If the weather holds I am going to get some way overdue pruning on trees done. A bit of sun will help the winter blues as well. :D
