Sorry if this is a repost, but I just hit this on stumbleupon and thought it was too awesome not to share. Some guy made a life size model of the kraken club, and actually did a damned good job.

that is a beautiful piece of fan work there, not many people invest that kind of effort into things like this.

He could probably find a buyer for that and make a nice bit of cash.

I always assumed that model was iron shod wood (wood sandwiched between iron) with metal teeth screwed into it. General Mihli's club (which is the same model) is stated to be made of rosewood in one of the CS.

Original post, with info on how to order one, he's only making 4 per month so good luck to collectors.

I wouldn't doubt it probably was square... that'd be funny as hell come fanfest and they're giving away kraken clubs attached with a voucher to get one in game XD

Wow, talk about their ability to de-value an item, that is almost as bad as their Thief Knife "adjustment".

If this is a case, the guys talkin about an order large enough to close him for 2 months. That tells me that it is large but in the means of prolly 10-25. But lets say it is the most he can do a day...

I think he basically stated he can make 1, maybe 2 a day due to the time it takes. Lets just flat out say 2 a day. 62 a month for July and August would be a result which would mean 124 total, which divide that into all servers... it really wouldn't be THAT bad.

I'm more interested in the fact that a ~50M item only gets used to solo FoV...

(subtle Blow +1000)= 50M price tag imo...

That's a nice way to succeed selling tickets out with a higher price. Then the attended players go back home all excited, only to find out it's a Shellbuster that is given in game. To add insult, it include the 2 other castle baileys weapons.

Yeah we do. It just varies with each person and each individual swing since it's not all pre-programmed. =P

That said, impressive job making a replica like that.
