I don't know if you know this or not, but this thread is utterly pointless and devoid of any value, considering the game was just announced. Also, they even made a wiki for it.

Or, you could, you know, read the information already so thoughtfully provided at the top of this page, or in the wiki, or on the official site, or on any number of sites by googling FFXIV. You know, use that gooshy organ that resides in your skull.

Oh, because people in a forum will have more information than major media outlets. This makes sense. It does. It really does. I mean, you're on a partnered site that received exclusive information, posted it at the top, and none of it refers to a beta date, but some random Joe Blow who is posting here will have the inside track.

Do we have some tin foil to make this guy a hat so he can receive messages from SE's secret spy satellite so that he doesn't need to post to ask us these questions?
