Problem purchasing Bonanza marbles with 46 day old characterFollow

As the subject says, I have a few mules that I created exactly 46 days ago. I checked in the PlayOnline viewer just to be certain. They were all created on April 9th. The Bonanza Moogle won't even acknowledge me.

I've submitted a GM request, but after almost 2 hours, I've gotten no response. I'm also attempting to contact SE via phone, but have been on hold for a very long time here as well.

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this problem and are there any other more efficient ways of reporting the problem?

Maybe give it a few more days? Might be so close to the 45 day waiting period that it hasn't picked it up yet? I dunno, SE's customer service sucks *** so your gonna have to bare with them on this.

Going off of memory, The way I read the announcement was the characters had to be created 45 days before the event started. If your characters are just now hitting the 45 day mark you do not meet those requirements.

Nah, I re-read the announcement several times. They don't specify whether it's the beginning of the event or not, just that your character has to be 45 days old to purchase marbles.

I actually did get in touch with a support rep, and he told me to use the GM call in playonline. I did that, then the GM had me log into FFXI with the problem character. I had been going off of the time that playonline claimed I created the character, which was April 9th. The GM said the characters were only created on the 13th. My guess is that it's showing me the content id creation time, and not the character's. Not a big deal as I'll still have time to buy according to the GM.
