I don't know. The actual production was quite good, well timed, and so on. And the software work was obviously very skillful, so /claps for that.
On the other hand, to me its to me it looks like another example of someone using copyrighted images and music (or at least those created by someone else) and more or less pasting them into a film in various ways which mimic a style which was also not created by the author (in this case it mirrors the opening credits of a number of anime productions).
Maybe this just isn't my niche, but while I think your computer skills are admirable, I do not see too much creative value in this. The characters, music, and style are all the work of other people so I have trouble warming up to it.
I have to disagree. The whole point of the video, was to mimic an anime style intro. He made it the way he did because that's what he wanted to. It's a FFXI and anime style video, which was the intent. Of course he had to use things not CREATED by him, or it wouldn't have been the same. The creativity part was him making the video itself, it doesn't have to be entirely original, doing that would have lost it's point.
I'm not saying "CHANGE YOUR OPINION NOW", but saying he lacks creativity is wrong, it's exactly the opposite. Just because he didn't use things not created by him doesn't mean it wasn't creative. Putting it together was enough.
