I voted PUP. While I may not level it right off the bat, it is definitely has the biggest "cool" factor for me. (Glad I'm not an Elvaan or Galka XD Tarutaru <3)

Replied Puppetmaster, though I like Corsair too. The automatons are too cute. >>; I can't resist. Seems like it'll be an interesting class to play, as well.

Given that most people see Corsair as another Bard, its not all that surprising. We all know how easy it is to find a Bard.

I still have no intention or wish to level any of the new jobs. Might level Bard one day though.

I picked BLU, I have always been fond of that job, and always will. I can't wait to see how it does in FFXI.

I voted BLU, but it was a close match. PUP and COR both look cool, though arguably the former looks cooler, IMO. Even so, COR looks cool.

I find that people's opinion on COR will change drastically after they get a flaming card shot into their forehead.

Aww, COR is getting pwn :(. I voted for it but I'm not one of the people who wanted pirate. I just think that it will be fun to experiment with. I hope a lot of people play BLU and PUP so I can have COR to myself for a bit before it is forced to one specific role.

I think PUP looks like fun.

I don't think it's just that Corsair is support. It also looks like a pretty complex/confusing job where the benifits of the jobs abilities are not real obvious. Once it's unlocked and we learn a bit more about it I'm sure people will be more intrigued.

If it turns out to help parties speed things up to anywhere near the degree of a BRD for example, the job will be very popular.

I was considering puppetmaster, but since it looks like it could be hard on the inventory (even with an extra 30-50 for mog locker), I voted blue mage. Depending on base stats and mp, blue could be a pretty good sub, and if you get the stat bonuses for setting spells with BLU as a sub, mages could possibly get a few free points of int and/or mnd.

LMAO!

For me, PUP looks like the most fun. I do plan on leveling some crafts before I get into it. It looks expensive and I wanna look for ways to reduce my costs and make a little cheddah with my extra supplies :D

My opinions on the jobs seem to waver with each new bit of info I hear about them, but I am a supporter at heart...I can't resist the idea of Corsair. I just hope it won't be too heavily based on consumables. (I know there will be ammo and cards and dice to buy though >_<)

I personally will enjoy playing BLU, and I especially love the way they implemented the Blue Magic.

It appears you may be able to set your magic on the fly, as it imposes the restriction that the BLU can't cast magic for 1 minute after you set it. If it was mog house only, you wouldn't need that restriction >:)

That'll open up to a lot more possibilities in the job class.

The only thing I can see sucking, is trying to get all the abilities you can. You'll have to lvl from 1-7 in all starter areas, 7-10 in all the starter dungeons, 10-20ish in bubu, valkurm, intermediate zones, korrolloka, etc etc. It'll be a chore to get as many abilities as you can before you grow too high of a level for them.

luckily once you would hit 55+, all/most mobs are ep+ to 75, so that'll make life easier and you can cruise xp more without worry. Until that point tho, you need to have diverse pt locations to be able to learn all the magic you can. :o

I thought I would want BLU, but after reading the update, I'm amazed by how customizable PUP is. I'm going PUP when I get a chance.
