Is anyone on here from Texas and have Teleshare as their ISP? I have swithced to Teleshare after moving away form college and can no longer stay connected to POL or FFXI for more then a few minutes at a time. On other games I have no problem staying connected at all, WoW for example. I have taken my labtop over to a friends that has a DSL connection and had no problem with either POL or FFXI. So has with Teleshare had this problem and if so how did you fix it? I tried setting up my router to open the ports that FFXI uses but cant figure out how.

I'm sorry you live in Texas!

Just stay away from hunting ranches when the Vice President is around.

Hope that helps...

I have that problem with mine. I can sorta fix it by Pinging something with the cmd. I think its mostly due to the fact however, that I'm like 100yds away from my router with my reciever. Perhaps if you can find the IP adress to your Server EDIT: And ping it? or would that be considered a DDoS attack?

I did contact my ISP and they just gave me the IP address I need to connect to so that I get access to the internet. So yeah it was to simple. You know how any company is. Its not there fault unless you have hard evidence. Get ahold of POL and they just give the ports that they use.
