Its been coming up on a lot of forums lately... DRKs asking what the worst race for DRK is, MNKs asking what the worst race for MNK is....

There is no bad race, only mediocre race/class. Each class works with different jobs, this thread is unbearably moronic. Post this on friday please..
Depends on What job you are playing. The hume are just decent in everything, Elvaan Excell in Melee DD, Galka Excell in tanking, Tarus Excell in Magery, Mithra Excell in THF, NIN, and RNG whatever their Category is.

The asnwer is plain and simple: NO ONE. SE has balanced each race/job so that no one is better than anyone, but can excel in certain areas.

Mithra's THF, RNG

overall the worest race in the game is "Hume". Reason being, they dont excel at anything.
with enough money, gear, skill, no race is better.
skill being the biggest part i think.
the best WHMs i ever partied with were galka and elvaan. best PLD i partied with was a taru. i've seen sucky mithra THFs and sucky elvaan MNKs. really depends on the player, i think.

Meh. Stat-wise, it really is hume... And I was a hume.
Mostly because I didn't know what I wanted to be, and I ended up changing between Monk, Thief, and Warrior.
Galka are Elvan rule most of the physical areas.
Mithra are... Great for Thief? Okay, I'll admit I'm not very knowledgeable with Mithra.
Taru obviously rule over the mage positions.
Some say Humes are rather good Red Mages, but I'd have to say more so in a solo situation. In an EXP group, I'd rather have a Taru.
I could mock the appearance of the other races, but I'll probably already get rated down. XD

Elvaan are pretty much overpowered DDs in the late game when their weaknesses are easily compensated for and everyone is clamoring for more STR. Tarus are always overpowered as mages. Their only "weakness" is that they need a good tank to keep up with them.
Elvaan are the worst race in the game. The lowest INT and the accuracy of a blind rarab. {Burn} {San'Doria} {Yes please}
Worst race? I dunno about that. But TarOOs are the best... PERIOD!!! No arguing and no point in even THINKING about arguing! TarOOs rock! And if you disagree then come duel with "The Protector Of TarOOs" on Phoenix server. (But I may have some TarOO friends to help me :P )

All are balanced. Hume is infact probably the best race for RDM because of the adaptability, sort of.

n00bs. not newbies, but the people who think valkrum is the only place leveling at level 7.
other than that, human. What can they do? they can't use any of the cool jobs, just Lawyer, Teacher, Policeman, and worst of all, Student. None of those can lay out even close that 1500 damage guiotine...

I would say Chiwawa is the worst race, but they're at least cute in some way. So I'd probably say poodles are the worst, they're annoying and I've never been a big fan of those. Personally I'd take an Alaskan Malamute any day..... oh, we're not talking about dogs, are we? >.>
