Can anyone tell me the name of the Elvaan female NPC with long white hair parted in the middle?

I have the Elvaan Female (Liabelle) with the 2 cute pigtails and red hair. Red Ghost -> Yes, Beehm -> No (i assume if you say yes to Beehm you get the white hair version)

Dinged 32 yesterday in Saurumuge Campaign fighting Tabar Beaks, Skinks and Weapons. Stayed 31 Minutes. I turn away from the mob so she can whack it and get's a chance to cure me now and then. I only leveled with her in areas appropriate for an EXP Party or Higher. (Saurumuge/Zi'tah/Battalia).

She is really adorable. Here are some of her Dialogs:

Provoke: 'Hey, don't ignore me!'
Low MP: 'Where did all my Magic go?'
Leaving: 'I am really exhausted'

She is currently a Healer with Ash Staff, a really weird mix of armor (Scale/Plate/Leaping Boots O.o/Cuffs) and she does a damn fine job.

1. Keeping Protect II and Shell on us both.
2. She Cures me when i am in the lower yellow (Cure III).
3. She casts Silena/Poisona/Paralyna when needed.
4. She will use Stoneskin/Blink/Aquaveil when not fighting.
5. Never seen her Cure herself, i am extremely protective with her out ^_^.
6. I rest with her when she is telling me she is low on MP and she will say something cute when she got full MP. (can't remember exactly what)
7. She hits for 30-40 on the mobs in Saurumuge with her staff. I am impressed. She uses Rock Crusher as WS.

Hope this helped to clear up some questions.

Yes you can redo the quest. All you have to do is go back to Luto and talk to her. She'll ask if you want to "Quit your current task?" Say yes, and then yes that you are "Very Sure".

She will ask you to trade her your Signal Pearl and you can start over. She'll also "flashy thing" you a la' Men In Black :) so you can remember anything... hehe...

Try trading a Butterfly Axe (great axe), that works for sure. ^^ My npc also used counter btw, so WAR/MNK I guess. ;o

One thing I've noticed is that these NPCs don't play by the same rules as we do. For example, while the NPC can counter, that doesn't make him a war/mnk. He might intimidate an undead foe as well, but that doesn't make him a pld/war. Those are merely effects of the fighting style they use, which may grow in number as they level. As far as gear goes, they break the rules completely. An NPC capped at level 10 in centurian's scale mail (lvl 30)? Hell, for all we know, it's not actually centurian's in this case, just a generic armor with slightly improved stats. It wouldn't surprise me as, like I said earlier, they don't play by the same rules as we do. Just thought I'd contribute that observation.

*Confirmed how to aquire the new 'Jobs'*

There's been some controversy on how this is done, so I've tested and can say that this is CONFIRMED.

The NPC will aquire it's new jobs after the 3rd successful summoning. I came to this conclusion by both my own testing and reading other testimonials.

Today before taking my NPC out for the 3rd time I went to the Rendezvous Point and everything was still the same as yesterday. No new options or armor.

I took her out and after she left after the usual 15 minutes, I headed straight back and now the job options are there.

So we can all safely say that it is confirmed after the 3rd usage of your NPC that is when you get the new jobs

Hope that helps everyone ^^ I'll keep everyone posted of new developments.

now i dont want to call you a liar, but ive pulled my npc out a dozen times and i STILL cant change jobs, and luto continues to say there is nothing new at this time. my npc is level 31 shield (and appears to be wearing seers eq?) and nowhere at the RP does it give me the option to change his job. so this here FACT that you so confidently speak of is either very wrong, or my npc is broken.

*edit*
NPC now level 32, still cannot change combat style, wtf good is a npc taru tank to a level 60 war

*edit*
as a reply to a few posts below, i did scroll all the way down, i ALMOST included that in the original messege, i guess i should have.

My NPC buddy is a galka attacker style, with level 2 upgrade of hand to hand weapons. It recently started getting hate from my level 36 thf when we soloed, and did something kinda new. First, he started off double attacking, which was kinda cool. Then, he started countering attacks, alot. He is still using his 4 same weapon skills though :\ (combo, one inch punch, backhand blow, and sholder tackle.)

If anything else new happens, ill pop in and let you guys know.
Peace.

My NPC is 38 atm I am under the impression the number of calls and XP obtained both are a factor if your calling your NPC a number of times and not leveling your not fighting high enough mobs to your NPC level. I level almost every other outing now in West altep.

Just keep grinding and checking at the RPoint the option for combat style is at the bottom I think so don't forget to scroll just a thought. Also if you drop your pearl after the update it might take you awhile to get the option back not sure tho I know the headband option goes away not sure about style might as well.

Just a couple of additions:-

If you click on your NPC by accident they'll ask if you're sure you want them to go, but you have 10 seconds or so to click on your NPC again to ask them to remain instead of going away.

Macros - <ft> targets your NPC without you having to click on them, so you can either set up macros on the template or manually type in things like /ma Cure <ft> and then hit enter to heal your NPC. Remember macros are case-sensitive, Cure has to have a capital C and so on.

Here's my NPC record: (Edit, no pearl dropping, just using same pearl once every 20-24 hours or so).

Day 1 - 15 assorted mobs in Rolanberry
Day 2 - 15 Clippers in Qufim
Day 3 - Option to specify job type now permitted, (chose Attacker) then killed 15 clippers in Qufim
Day 4 - 15 mandies and gobs in Yuhtunga
Day 5 - 15 assorted mobs in Jugner
Day 6 - Weapon upgrade option offered by Luto, traded Great Katana, now NPC is a level 30 using Samurai weaponskills and double attacks even though he's 'Attacker' job type. Killed 15 Ivory Lizards in Yuhtunga, NPC dinged 31 around the 11th or 12th.
Day 7 - 15 Ivory Lizards in Yuhtunga.

What people don't realize is that the NPC when you first get it can stay out for 45 minutes OR 15 kills.

Also, to restart the quest...Once you did the entire quest and want to start over for a new NPC talk to Luto again. She will have an option saying "I want to quit this task". Choose that, trade in the Signal pearl, and voila! You can redo the Fellowship quest once again. That is all there is to redoing the quest

I also believe that the way an NPC levels is by going to an area a level 30 PC would normally go to and EXP there. I am a 42 DRG on Phoenix and i have been killing a lot of things in Rolanberry Fields with my npc everyday. I just managed to get her to level to 31. I don't think that it matters if you get EXP or not. Your NPC still gets the EXP from the kill even if you don't. That is my theory.
