I've speent days on end talking to NPC's just to get the basics of their language down.
Pretty much, act like you are 4 years old mentaly and just learned how to talk.
Well, from what I can tell:
If it ends in 'T' it can be made to Taru. ie: getaru, feltaru, neataru. However, there are some other words that sound right when a "taru" is on the end of it. Also, just becuase it has a T on the end, doesn't mean it absolutely HAS to have Taru on the end.
Your 'R's are replaced with 'W' like Elmer Fudd. ie: Wascily Wabbit. However, there are some exceptions. Like the word "are" or "ore" Sound it out with the r, then the w. If it doesn't sound like the original word anymore, don't replace it the r with a W. Also, the letter "L" is commonly replaced with 'W' when it sounds right.
Now, as for the rhyming scheme, there is such thing as a "saturation" point. Where it just becomes overbearing and plain dumb to have so many words that rhyme. You're a Taru Taru, not Dr Seusse.
Anything that can be rhymed, will most likely be rhymed. It's very common that the rhyme word begin with 'W' (or R, which becomes a 'w' due to the lingusitic rules) ie: Batty-watty.
It's also common for the rhymed word to end in 'y' to make it more cute sounding I suppose.
I also see this alot. If the word "Taru" was not used anywhere in a paragraph or set statement, then the last word in the -speech- will automaticly have Taru on the end. Though, it's hard not to have a single sentence that does not involve the word Taru.
Wespectaru my leety-weety skillz.
For example. :P
