Linkshell Explained!!!???

ok, i been playing for like 4 days now and I got the game down pretty well... I'm about to make my way to the Plateua south of San D'oria and Ronafure and start leveling... one thing that I haven't figured out yet is the linkshell thing... how does it all work? i'm used to being in a guild in ac2 so I'd like to get something like that going on again... so how does the linkshell system work and how can I get one??

If you want to start your own Linkshell, you buy the New Linkshell in the city. They cost about 8,000 gil.

Then you go to Linkshell from your menu and choose to create a Linkshell.

After that, you are able to create Link Pearls to pass out to people. This allows them to be part of the Linkshell.

If you just want to JOIN one, just find one to join and ask the owner for a pearl.

It's just like guilds.

Typically when I hand out linkpearls it is after I've spent a few hours grouping with someone. If they are good players with nice personalities: I'll offer them a pearl.

You might want to just wait a bit before you go asking around for pearls, group with bunch of people and ask the ones you like about their linkshell.

I agree. It is more important to most people to get good people into their linkshell section than to invite tons for the sake of it. You don't even need to have to ask if you're a good player. People will seek you out in this game if you're worth it. Focus on the fun and the linkpearls will find their ways to you.
