me and friend in same world but can't see each otherFollow

We are in the same world, in the same spot, and we can't see one another. We see different people pass by, but when the airship arrives at the dock in Bartok, we both see it happening at the same time.

What do we need to do?

We tried adding one another in our friends lists, but that doesn't work either.
