Anyone know the answer to this for certain: If you buy the Collector or Premium edition, do you have access to the benefits of previous Collector or Premium editions? Specifically I'm thinking of Collection achievements. Some collectibles can only be applied to Achievements if you have the Collector or Premium edition for the expansion in which the collectibles were introduced.

Well, there is a thread on EQ forums which answers this in the negative. Theory being that they need the extra money from these deluxe editions and don't want to encourage players just to wait until they're discounted to get the premium add-ons. Makes sense but no way I'm buying those retroactively just to get a few extras. Maybe they should offer a discounted package deal for them for a limited time during holidays or anniversary...

The Ring of Scale sale will end when pre-orders for The Burning Lands begin. We haven't announced a date for that yet, but when we do it will be about a week in advance. Expect it to be at the end of the month.
