Looks good, with a lot more pizzazz than before, but I want to check it out further.
Of course, I'll admit to having a brief moment of concern when I couldn't immediately locate the EQ site.
Fortunately, we're still here.. Smiley: yippee as uncool as that seems.....

The old ZAM still exists as well if anyone needs to access it: legacy.zam.com

I like the new look, it much more clean and organized. But now, I fear I need to make a Disqus account and use it. Bleh. That's all I need... more accounts to keep track of. haha

I never knew there WAS a ZAM page. I've only ever been to the EQ and EQ2 sites, directly :)

I honestly just started using it too. I spend most of my time on wowhead or hearthhead. haha

The new site looks great, and is probably good for Zam overall to go in that direction.

From the EQ perspective... I'm concerned that having to go into the about tab and somewhat guess that you should click this

TO ACCESS OLD ZAM.COM ACCOUNTS:

You can find your old zam.com account login area at legacy.zam.com.

to get yourself into the EQ parts of the site may lose or prevent people from getting here.

In an ideal world EQ would still be considered a "featured site" but being honest I'm sure we don't generate enough traffic.

Maybe they can edit in the about section a line like this:

"Zam has always been a great online source of gaming information. Whether you started in Everquest [click to follow the link to the still active Everquest forums!] or are into the cutting edge games of today, it's all a part of the community at Zam!"

My shortcut goes straight to the EQ home page on zam so I wasn't even aware of the new layout. But, you're right, if an EQ link isn't prominent on the main home page it won't help EQ players, especially potential new players, to make their way to these pages. Fortunately, Google searches for almost any EQ topic will lead the user straight to allakhazam.

It's courtesy denied because the bloom is off the rose.

Dance with the one that brought you

edit: LOLKING? It's like Romeo dumping Juliet for Peaches Geldof.

How about we all drop some acid and have a swing on the Cenotaph, my treat, guyz.

I found it by selecting one of the "Featured Sites" in the dropdown. Then used another dropdown on the "ZAM" in the upper left corner, THEN clicking on "View All ZAM Network Sites" and finally selecting Everquest.

Hella way for a newbie to find the page. I agree, it's concerning that those who accessed the site via the Zam homepage may not find us.
