Is EQ going to upgrade the epic lines? The new gear they are putting out out-strips the epics in all stats and they have become rather useless now.

I believe the Dev's stated that they wouldn't do anymore epic type quest. The clickies are still very useful on them so they are still worth doing. Try being a necro, they're still using their epic because there is no upgrade for it. Most other classes can find substitutes for theirs (except for the clickie part).
