Depths of Darkhollow: Ordered/Bought?Follow

I will wait until they get the bugs out.

I always pre order until this expansion, I decided to wait till the expansion is released and buy the box because i'd like to get the mount and gargoyle =).

I started playing last November, I haven't raided a single Velious or Luclin zone (although my guild is going to start doing some SSra and VT gearing). I have raided a Kunark zone once for a bard epic, and in all honesty, don't care to go back :), and finally last month I started my Planar Progression. Granted, I am one raid short of elemental in just over two weeks, but there is a lot of sky up above.

That leaves me already HEAVILY behind Gates, Omens, and Dragons (which I at least do missions to get crystals). And now they are gonna hit me with another one? Hey, the growing items and what not sound awesome, but that requires a patch, not an expansion. I understand some of the uber guilds with peeps who have been playing for five to six years are getting bored. But GODDAMM!!! At least give me nine months apart, better yet push a year on them.

I run three accounts, so this is gonna set me back a few. And I am sure my guild will raid some new zones, so I know will buy it, if not to at least get in on guild raids. But I have plenty to do, so SOE needs to slow down a bit. If my guild says to get it for raids, I will buy it, if not I am gonna wait.

**As a later afterthought, I have heard some very good things about this expansion. So should it turn out well, I am okay with such a short time in between. I was critical of DoN at first, and have really enjoyed it. From what I understand, GoD was pushed through fast to make a buck, and it suffered greatly (worst expansion for me personally, great items, but the trouble to get them hardly outweighs the risk) both in content and a huge number of bugs. If they release one every six months, it better not be all jacked up. Peace!**

Yet another sign that hopefully most of the prepetual whiners and SOE bashers have moved on..... leaving us with a much more positive community.

I plan to buy it mainly for the monster missions. From what I have seen about the mob content or such it looks like another quickly thrown together expansion. So what new bottlenecks will SOE put into grouping now? First there was the requirement to have a slower with POP cause the mobs hit for insane damage. Then with DOn you just about gotta have a cleric for the healer cause they hit for such insane damage somebody is bound to die eventually from something. Also with DOn we got goblins that run like bards so now you gotta have a snarer. Starting to get harder and harder to put a group together. Remember the old school days of EQ where you could get by with nothing but a healer in a high end group?? Heck sometimes you could get by without the healer if you was uber enough.

Anyways sorry to go off-topic, but I just get sick of the contant spamming of expansinos. Only interesting aspect of this expansion is the monster missions, and I am willing to bet there will be some hugely BS quest involveing raids to unlock the fun mosnter missions.

Bought it for download, canceled order when I saw that the AAs and disc for ranger were all for lvl 66+ :(

was planning on getting this expansion.. but financial stuffs came up , so i am abstaining for a while .. though i do plan on getting it eventually.

If i was not in Iraq I would have done bought it. But when i get back i will catch up on EQ.

Pre bought at EB GAmes which is less tahn 3 miles from work.
On Tues I will pick it up at lunch , install that afternoon and patch so I can play that night.

For those of you who don't know, the guys who originally designed Everquest (Verant) told Sony to take a hike a while back and formed a new company called Sigil Games. Their new game, Vanguard, will be out soon and I will try it before I throw any more money Sony's way.
