I posted this in the quest forum so i apologize for the double post but I figured that it may get a wider audience here.
Well I've had my pally since Dec 99 and have never been able to get either the torn book or the burnt book. Before I took a break from EQ I went on 4 naggy raids and 2 vox raids.
When I came back, decided I would just keep leveling and just kill the kunark dragons. The only problem is that the dragons are killed almost immediately when they pop.
Can anyone give me some pointers or strategies on getting at least a glimpse of these dragons. I've never even seen them.
If there are any people here on Povar who could assist me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

When I read posts like this I feel like a jack@ss, before the first time I quit EQ, I had a 52 Pally, it took me 5 raids between Naggy/Vox (totaling a bit less than a month) to get BOTH books.
Then I quit a week later, and I didn't even MQ the books to someone else. Jeez that was lame, I don't want to play a Pally again now because the Karma will catch up and I'll never get the epic.

Re-activate your account, log in, mq them. I'm sure you'll find a pally that will greatly accept this gift. You didn't delete your character, did you?
And your Karma will be fine again.
Edit: If you happen to play on Xegony/Zebuxoruk, would you mind multiquesting them for my pally?

Have a 66 Pally on Povar. If you need help holler. In same boat as you regarding the books. However, if you need another hack and slasher to group and get what you need let me know.

I made a habit of searching the Bazaar for this everytime I went in there. Weeks passed and I never saw one until one day someone had one listed for 8k. Needless to say, I ran my *** off to get there and buy it before someone else did. Now, if I could just get that stupid Lich of Miragul to spawn for the phylactery turn-in I'll be set!
