Morning all,
Coming back to dust off my 45 Enchanter and found him camped in the depths of Crystal Caverns @ the good ole Geonid trail. Played around with him and managed to get a bar or two of good old yellow experience.
Moved on to "The Hole' and found the mobs there to be a little too tough to solo @ 45. Their DPS was a bit strong for my pet at present and I normaly don't come to a zone buffed with Temp or any major spells.
I hate to ask this question but here it goes... Where would you go to solo an Enchanter with normal gear @ level 45??? The geonids are probably good till 46 and then the exp will dry up. Can I solo the initial Plane zone??? This is my main and my gear is very non-uberish.

planes require you to be level 46 to enter. At 45 you should still be able to do Echo Caverns hard side for a couple levels current Hotspot (exp bonus zone) then move on to The Hole another current hotspot. Sol B would be another spot you could work lots of mobs close to zone
Another thought would be looking at duoing if solo XP is hard to come by. I prefer to solo my Necro and Druid but a group now and then breaks things up a bit.

good spots might be:
Cobalt Scar
Dawnshroud Peaks (Rockhopper caves)
Grimling forest (Acryllia Caverns entrance)
Gunthak (Beach)

I believe the Beach of Gunthak was getting a bit low for level 45. Lot of light blues with an dark blue thrown in every once in awhile. Don't have the balls to solo the town farther up in the caves.
I think Sol B would be a great place to go. I think I can handle the kobolds and usually can find a few toons looking for a group. Thanks again for the help!

Solo The Hole you wuss...
Ok, try Gunthak tunnel for a few levels.
In Gunthak I used Nilifiks. Lots of hp, they regen fast too. Do not try to charm the tunnel mobs because I think their MR is too high.
Then later try Dulaks. Charm and work the docks behind 'the pen'. Most of the ones on the docks and a few of the roamers you can handle with a charmed pet.
I have been soloing the Hole entrance for a few levels now (currently 49).
You can solo using charm at the entrance provided there are scads of people coming and (worse) going.
It's not *easy* but the xp is nice. Also not bad for loot.
You should know by now your summoned pet pales in comparison to a local mob. Trick is finding one with low MR who stays charmed long enough to be useful.

The Grey is perfect for a level 45 and it's a hot spot too. Just make sure you have an enduring breath item, (it's an airless zone).
At 45 the mobs around the temple will con blue, white and yellow. They pay 2%-3% xp per kill. You won't be able to single pull unless you pet pull. If the temple area is too difficult you can always do the wall. Very easy to single pull at the wall.
There's also an easy quest there to get a free eb item. You just need to collect 3 organs from those snake looking things.

Since all of the changes to the spell lists you should see if any of the higher spells are also available.

Went from 36 to 51 on and off here with a few groups -> duo -> solo. Plus made some nice coin as well with gem drops.

The exp in Crystal Caverns was crazy for 30 minutes! Had a sack full of gems and made about 1500 plat in roughly 3 hours of playing last night. That is pretty good for me. The Geonids were dropping 4 plat each (some dropped 6 plat, some 9 gold) and every 4th kill resulted in a nice gem drop and chipped gear. Some of the gear sold for 150 plat to a vendor.
Not a bad night!
