EQ Websites - Are there any with good Editorial these days?Follow

Okay, so admittedly this is going to date me.

Back many many many years ago, eq.castersrealm.com, and mobhunter.com, and gucomics.com where all great sites that kept the fire hot under the SOE developers toes, and the site owners where not in the least bit bashful about keeping a hit list of items that where broken.

At one point castersrealm.com even had a list of items for each class that needed to be looked at under the old topic of class balance. This is years ago before the current spin of calling it class re-envisioning.

Since then castersrealm.com has become extremely watered down to the point where it feels like they are more of an advertising outlet then a source for good editorial on the state of the game.

Mobhunter.com seems to have lost all it's heart since Moorgard became an SOE employee and somehow forgot his great rant from http://web.archive.org/web/20030621133047/www.mobhunter.com/article.jsp?articleid=-442114102

I'm not dissing Loral, or Gemdiver, I'm sure they are good people. They just don't seem to have the same willingness to stir the pot.

Anyway, can anyone recommend a good site that keeps track of the issues? Some place that doesn't let the bugs and nerfs off the scope and keeps the fires burning?

I am. Loral's a tool and turned Mobhunter into an SOE propaganda machine.

Class-specific sites often have their own representatives who bring reports from the class community to devs. I'm a regular on a few necro and cleric boards who do this. I don't know about game-wide issues in general, though this site has the best up-to-date ingame info.
