What do ya do when you've done it all?Follow

#1 Aug 08 2005 at 12:29 AM Rating: Decent
I am waiting for DoD release now. For several months now I have been finished with ALL the AAs, ALL the Trade Skills, and done ALL the quest i feel are worth doing. I don't envision a great deal of AAs to be released with DoD and with double exp I assume I will have those done soon too.

I have leveled alts but that is the SSDD to me. Is it time to hang it up and say G-bye to EQ ?

Short of doing it all again...you could move to the beach and take up surfing.
I been surfing for several years now and im still only level 20 with no aa's....its a blast. Many of the established camps are gettin a bit busy, but theres always new ones to try. It can be done group or solo, is not gear dependant, once you've got the basics. Skill-ups come thick and fast once the basics are learned, its very healthy, you meet the nicest people, and best of all, it don't cost a darn thing!
Or WoW, I s'pose....

What they dont have authentic magelo's anymore?
#4 Aug 08 2005 at 8:30 AM Rating: Decent
Get all the AA's you can and see if you can max your AA's the day DoD comes out... Also it sounds like you will have a lot of monster quests when DoD comes out... You will have to start at the bottom and unlock all the new monster races (or something like that)...

Authentic Magelo's cost money. Not a lot but perhaps more than the OP was willing to spend. I only have the service 'cause I'm far too lazy to update manually.

What should the OP do? Upgrade to a silk bridle Smiley: grin

You could challenge yourself to solo old(er) world raid mobs.

You could help casuals get equipment or flags they could never get on their own. Original epics are tough for unguilded people and you could probably solo 90% of them. (Might be challenging to drag a clueless noob through a PoFear break-in).

You could start your own guild and see if you can beat your old one.

You can move to the PvP server and see if you really are any good.

You could try to get good faction with every city in Norrath.

So, you've seen all the content EQ has to offer?

Or are you just ******** because you rush through all the high-end content and hit the endgame wall?

You might dabble in raid leading - leading open raids is a very very challenging role.

Alternately, RL is quite good fun when its sunny.

Well you've still got to get that Hand to Hand combat up - oh and your Raid Leadership points are virtually untouched!
#11 Aug 09 2005 at 1:27 AM Rating: Good
open raids. raid higher (looking at your magelo, you have tacvi loot, but not anguish/vish.) solo old raid mobs. challenge yourself to onegroup as many pop progression mobs as you can.

Become a raid leader.

Forget about equipment and AAs and start thinking about strategy and tactics.

Good commets from most of you.

The CoA gear I have mostly is ROTs, others need the gear more then I do I think /shrug.

I may actually try my hand at leading open raids, but peeps seem a bit less then thrilled over a druid leading raids.

Anyways I hope that DoD has more content then DoN had, DoN didn't really have any challenge or depth to it IMO.

Just curios, Ive been playing on stromm for about 3 years now (althoiugh I recently quit). Why have I never seen you before?

Did you transfer over with evolution from KB. Something about your magelo just screams Final Door? Then again why no guild tag? Most end game players do not go out of their way to link their megelos either?

Also only 5 posts? something is wrong here. EBAY?

ok gonna take a guess here. You paid a small fortune for a toon from ebay and now you dont know what to do or anything else. You were anxios to show your uber magelo(not authenticated) just to get some small sense of value out of what you must now feel is alot of wasted money?

Wanna buy a 70 gimp errrr ranger cheap?

BTW if I am wrong I apologize lol.

I dont know why but this whole op is starting to bother me. You post had the arrogance of a male but your toon name suggested a women. are you an eq trans-********? sorry i dont know the politically correct term for a man pretending to be a women, European? maybe.

Also you title is "of Stromm". I know gm events on stromm are rare but I would think a toon that has done what yours has supposedly done would have some form of gm name. For people not familiar with Stromm it had always had a very messed up higher end game and a toon as accomplished as yours would have stuck out like a gnoll in riverdale.

Come clean Kristy or frank or antwan or whatever your real name is.

except, anyone with 30 seconds and three brain cells could hop on over to eqrankings and see that her magelo is tagged <Final Door>.

I know three or four people with tradeskills maxed, and come on, saying someones chars fake because it doesnt have a gm title? get a life =p

Seriously, many of you are looking way too deep into this. Is it possible the OP bought the toon? Sure. It's just as possible that they actually played the toon, as they haven't said any of the dumb stuff that real ebayers usually say. The magelo not being "authentic" only means they didn't pay. A LOT of my (former) guildies don't use authentic magelos because once you reach a certain level of progression your gear doesn't change that often and you don't NEED the autoprofiler. I'm like Joph, I use it because I'm lazy (my gear sucks, but it doesn't change that often, again, because I'm lazy).

As for the post count... a lot of people lurk around here and rarely post. Look at Eagleflight. He's got a rather low post count, but I have no doubt he actually plays and he pretty much only posts when he really has something relevant to say. I lurked these boards for about 2 years before I got up the nerve (or maybe it was boredom) to actually post something.

To the OP... maybe it's time to just try something completely new. I found myself getting bored with EQ, not because I was completely out of progression, but because my limited play time limited my progression. I didn't have time to attend many raids, do a lot of farming or camp rare spawns for quirky items I've always wanted. I started playing a less time intensive game and it made things a lot better. When you come back to EQ you start to remember little things that you've always wanted to do and actually do them. It's just an idea, but one worth trying maybe.

... well the arrogance certainly resembles a FD member. But thats not the whole story is it Kritsy. Why dont you tell people who you really are and who your previos guild was?

Can I ask a serious question, what is the point of paying $13 a month to play a game and then brag about how you have finished it when you have cheated all the way through it?

You all remember the op's original guild Realm of Insanity. Or now better known as Banned from EQ for massive and constant cheating.

I remember how much you and your lousy guild liked the /warp command so why dont you /warp over to World of Warcraft like the rest of your banned friends. Its not often that eq even cares about people cheating but when it has gotten to the point where they ban almost an entire guild that shows you how bad it was.

You talked about having "done it all" but in reality you have probabl;y experienced very little in eq. The raids just arnt quite the same when the mob cannot attack you because you are hidden under the earth. If you are looking for something to do why dont you delete that toon and level one without cheating. Maybe then I will care how many aa and gear you have. Whats funny is you have alot of the same gear you probably had when ROI was banned. Someone even commented about your gear being abit dated. Shows how much you can accomplish without cheating.

Everyone knows I am not a big fan of Final Door but atleast they earned what they got. So I am kinda suprised they took someone like you.

So how many https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=462 did you and your guild EBAY anyway?
