The one thing that gets me are the people that don't try to understand when you explain. They just don't care.
People like to drop by unexpectedly all the time here ( sometimes when we play I have to pull the car around back and turn off all the lights ), but what I'm trying to say is:
Friends come over who will come in, and ask "What are you guys up to?" Okay, lets stop there and make a few observations.
1.) Did we open the door for you, or shout thru the house 'Come In!!!!!!"
2.) Once inside, can you see our faces or the back of our heads?
3.) Did we turn around to answer you.
Besides that.. They're not new here, their our friends... They know what EQ looks like, sounds like etc.. But they'll sit down time and time again, and try to carry on conversations that just get a usual.. "yeah..." , "...really?" , and " Did you loot the blood off that, or did it rot? ...oh, what did you say?"
But, seriously, people don't understand the time of getting guilds and groups together, buffing, fighting to the mob, buffing again if needed, and then the whole fight process. Can't start a raid and be ready to start.. then the door bell ring and be like.. Oh, sorry - raids off, my neighbor's here. :P
