You can download everquest trilogy (original game plus next 2 expansions) for free from the official sony website and play for free for 7 days. Then you can see how well it runs. Make sure to visit Plane of Knowledge (now available to all accounts even w/o pop expansion) and see how the lag is there. You may need to tweak it a bit to get it running best on your system if you want to add the EQ platnum expansion to your account. You also get to try the game out for free.

Should be able to play EQ on laptop. Because of the low video memory, I would suggest that you turn off most of the video effects in the game to minimize screen lag. Definitely take advantage of the 7 day trial before you spend money.

That will play, passably. My laptop has about half the stats (1.6Ghz Celeron, 256mb RAM, shard video) and I can kind of play on it, with everything turned off...

I had a laptop with a 2ghz processor, 512mb of ram, and a video card worse than yours, at 16mb. I could play, but if I turned my clip plane above 10 in newer zones, or panned my view around too much, I would blue screen quite easily. Keep in mind I also had old models on, and the lowest texture quality, no dynamic lighting, etc. I don't know how much of a difference 32mb will make, but I don't imagine you will be able to do it much more effectively than I did.

EQ should play on ur laptop if it dont then i dunno anything to do with computers lol

Yes, you can play it. But the graphics will have to be turned down, so it won't look as good as it could. I run it on a laptop P4-3.06GHz, 64mb Video, and 512RAM, and it looks ok. But my desktop blows it away in graphics. So it's doable with that machine, but graphics will be very limited.

Should be okay, my machine isn't much better. turning off sky effects seems to help me. :)
the new options commands should make it easier for you to run on a laptop, it did for me
