Someone was jabbering about skeletal commanders in EC, but I can't confirm that myself. I'd like to see something like what they did to Rathe Mountains a few years ago - that was simply a blast.

I have heard the skeletal commanders are back. I sure hope so, I have need of bone chips and those nice commander twink weapons :) .

A guild member said the following about last night:

Quote:
Suffering from a bout of insomnia, I got up and logged on my baby Chanter on Morden Rasp and went off to kill some grikbar kobolds for fun and profit.

As soon as I zoned into Steamfont I was beset by a gaggle of skeletal conscripts!

Switching over to my rogue I went back to explore and sure enough they are all back, including the Commanders with the big frelling swords!

Further exploration did not reveal the presence of any of the "Fabled" mobs, however.

Fippy is still just plain Fippy.

So it looks like they are back...

The commanders are Dark Blue to a lvl50 pally friend of mine and they drop all the same stuff as last time.
My guild was kind enough to take me along while they explore so now my lvl25 pally has loads of cool stuff from the skellies.

After dealing with a hard LDoN our group heads back to BB camp for the split. I was sitting there medding up and a green skeleton starts hitting me. I get up to put down the pest than notice the whole zone has gone to hell, skeletons everywhere. After much chaos and plenty of deaths to go around everyone started kicking their asses. One player I seen had his soul binded at the soul binder and he had 20 corpses all there, poor ******* probably dropped 3-4 levels. They come out at night (approx 7pm game time and dissapear at about 5am or so) and the commanders were dropping these clicky It rather sucked because I ended up playing 2 hours longer than I was suppose to, but it sounds like they'll be here for a while.

Not again... it was exciting when they first did it with the anniversary, and I'm sure it'll be exciting for those that are new or were too low of a level to take on the skeles before, but it would be nice if they dropped something different. I was destroying commanders last time, and after getting everything I could use, I would just /ooc what dropped and where to watch the lowbies swarm at it. If they don't drop anything new this time, I won't waste my time with them, and I'm sure many others will feel the same way.

They are back!...Confirmed: i ran into a pod of skellies today in Qeynos Hills. This is on MR Server. Friends of mine were having a blast killing them in BB Mtns. I beleive allthe same zones as this past MArch(or was it April?)

WOndering if the loot is the same....My mid level ranger still used his shortbow of the fighter and bladecatcher of the marshall.

have fun

OK they were in BB last night but more of an anoyance then anything.
Prob the highest lvl one was 30 or 35, and they were dropping nice stuff, but it was all nodrop.
Now at 37 what they dropped was not good enough to repace any of the gear that I have. So why were lvl 50+ people out KS them from lower lvl chr? This does seem like a very cool thing for people in their lower lvls but they sure were not the ones killing them.
O Well

Be happy when they are gone.

That's because the lower level guys that could use the gear COULD take them, if they could pull them single or even double or triple with CC. The problem is that's very difficult to do with the amount of skeletons that are out there. Most ~35 level groups would get swarmed and wiped in just a few minutes. Anybody higher then that PROBABLY has better gear anyway (even though my bard is still wearing one of the rings at 64, mostly because I'm lazy. Check out Zingin's magelo if you want to see it).

Not a bad ring really.
But in BB the highest one was Blue to me at 37, was never any prob with soloing them.
Are they at higher lvls any where else?

Lower lvls were getting slaughtered trying to get the drops, so I brought out my lvl 61 mage. All I did was run around agroing everything and pet would hack 'em up. Lots of happy newbies scattering around picking up the drops. It was great fun.

Ithiosar the Fallen has been known to be spawned around Halloween. Not every time, but sometimes. Just something to keep an eye out for.

Yeah, he spawned April 26th on Povar this year. It was like 3 am, and I can't even remember why I was online, but saw the system-wide message and went to help take him down. What sucked about it was there were SOOO many people in the zone and 2 raids set up to assist in the takedown, and a lot of people not in either raid. After the two dragons went down, we had to deal with all the ravengers. By the time we had finished them, somebody had ninja'd at least 2 items, but nobody saw any loot messages. So either they left the raids to loot, or were never in either one to start out with. I hate pickup raids...

On the quellious server the gm was turning everyone into fairys. It was hilarious, they were flying and had the fairy music.
