Travel to OOT and WOOT there is the tainted cyclops (finally been camping him for over a month). Call on guildies--all are busy--so I think to myself, Hey! I am not going to let him get away. Knowing full well he summons, I decided to solo his butt=) Holler at the guild be ready to rez me! LOL....to make a long story short, Yay I killed him, root run dot run dot run lol finally he died. This left only Fay to kill !
Calling all guildies get your butts to TD!!! Yay they come and we take Fay out like a poon. LOL
Anyhow! Got my epic Friday and logged with 3% left to go to level 65.

Congratulations on 65! Just think, for about tweleve more hours you're at the top level of the game! Smiley: laugh

Nothing too exciting here. Played with the Hollowshade war some for the first time and tried to get the Owlbear Mother Eye to drop (no love) and farmed wolves for a guildie smith (pretty good luck there). Unfortunately, some other bard started dinking with the thing. There is a lowbie guild on Morden Rasp that, I swear, has to be giving our free ashtrays or something to anyone who applies because it seems that everytime I run into a Grade A Certified Dip, they have the same guildtag.

Anyway, did some light farming and basicly bummed around. I need to press my mage up to 39 so I can summon plate. I did get to do a LDoN on her with the guild which was something of a rarity.

I had an old, old ranger on MR who I made the day the server went live and then never touched again. Went through the tutorial for the first time which was kind of amusing though I really was rather impressed by it. An awful lot easier than back in the day, let me tell ya.

Spent my week end playing time hanging out with friends. Did 6 or so normal LDoNs in SRO with my Wizard which inched him closer to that +2 FT slot 7 auggie! Also did a few hards too and spent some time in Tactics. I was able to cap off his experience. So, first kill come tomorrow and DING 66!

Finished dinging Jennock to maximum xp into 65 in preparation for OoW. Dropped lots in KT and dinged 365AA, I really have too many of those on Jennock now!
Dinged Esme to just shy of 53 while also dinging Jenii to 61 and a half. Getting there slowly. So that is the boring stuff over!

Lots of fun in old world hunting VP parts .. completed a chardok king crawl with just under two groups so a clr friend is now epicced. They foolishly let me pull and tank. Thankfully our enchanter dealt with the 8 pulls Smiley: laugh
Killed Agnarr to gain several more planar campaign members elemental access which was a fun fight as usual.
Managed to half complete some more VP quests, near finish the old VP key, help some friends on camps and various bits and bobs. I had a very full weekend of EQ. Which makes up for how I will play almost none next weekend Smiley: cry Roleplay weekend, out comes my super heroine Smiley: yippee

We went to Ferubi and challenged Smith Rondo to rumble Smiley: smile. It was a very interesting fight.

Our RL has a thing about clearing quickly (I guess its a result of the timed scripts in PoP) and so the clear in was busy and tense, the repops seem to be on a pretty short timer as well so there may have been a method to his madness. Nevertheless a sustained period of time with multiple Ferubi mobs in camp was a good test for what was to come. We seemed to pick up a couple of named during the clearing and some people got something, I was too busy to take note, so not too sure what they were now, might have been a belt of some sort.

Once we got into the chamber and triggered the Weapon Master things got very exciting. I was put on healing duty to keep alive one of the Bards doing the mezzing of the entry guards, our plan was rather than kill them and have to fight the repops mid Weapon Master battle, to keep them all mezzed throughout the fight. This kept me pretty busy and so I didn't get to study the Weapon Master up close, but from what I saw it must be the wierdest looking mob I have seen in the game so far. Looks a bit like a dog from the back, but when you get closer maybe more of a goat with spines sticking out of its back. From the front it looks like a centaur gone wrong, wierd.

Our little team did our job alright, kept the mobs mezzed right through the battle with only a minor bit of pushing and shoving, I was getting a bit low on mana but not too bad, then just as the Weapon Master went down, my Bard got hit with a ten ton truck (suspect several of them got loose at the same time and all hit him), which meant that I had no chance what ever as having spent all that time healing him, as soon he was down all the mobs descended on me Smiley: bah

So I missed most of the Smith Rondo fight, being rezzed back in and looting and rebuffing just in time to see him die. We then had another few minutes of controlled chaos as we dealt with the Apprentices and repops, a tough encounter all round. Worth it though, I don't have to do the horrid Sewer Trials now Smiley: grin

Last night we decided to attack the Arbiter of Earth and gain entry to Ragrax (PoEb). Another very busy time. We went and took on Tantisala first, then went back to the ledge and began the Dust Ring, its great fun to be able to do some AoEing in the middle of a raid. I really like doing the PoE rings, hope OoW have more of this type of encounter. One of our lovely Chanters got the shield lucky girl. Then it was off to the Arbiter, we were clearing in as quickly as we could because of the timer and got a spread out a bit, which meant that the adds took a bit of a toll on us, but we pulled it back together and in the end it was not such a dificult fight, as luck would have it there are 54 flags on the Arbiter for PoEb and we had 54 in the raid, ipso facto, 54 very happy little chappies Smiley: grin
