We went to Ferubi and challenged Smith Rondo to rumble

. It was a very interesting fight.
Our RL has a thing about clearing quickly (I guess its a result of the timed scripts in PoP) and so the clear in was busy and tense, the repops seem to be on a pretty short timer as well so there may have been a method to his madness. Nevertheless a sustained period of time with multiple Ferubi mobs in camp was a good test for what was to come. We seemed to pick up a couple of named during the clearing and some people got something, I was too busy to take note, so not too sure what they were now, might have been a belt of some sort.
Once we got into the chamber and triggered the Weapon Master things got very exciting. I was put on healing duty to keep alive one of the Bards doing the mezzing of the entry guards, our plan was rather than kill them and have to fight the repops mid Weapon Master battle, to keep them all mezzed throughout the fight. This kept me pretty busy and so I didn't get to study the Weapon Master up close, but from what I saw it must be the wierdest looking mob I have seen in the game so far. Looks a bit like a dog from the back, but when you get closer maybe more of a goat with spines sticking out of its back. From the front it looks like a centaur gone wrong, wierd.
Our little team did our job alright, kept the mobs mezzed right through the battle with only a minor bit of pushing and shoving, I was getting a bit low on mana but not too bad, then just as the Weapon Master went down, my Bard got hit with a ten ton truck (suspect several of them got loose at the same time and all hit him), which meant that I had no chance what ever as having spent all that time healing him, as soon he was down all the mobs descended on me
So I missed most of the Smith Rondo fight, being rezzed back in and looting and rebuffing just in time to see him die. We then had another few minutes of controlled chaos as we dealt with the Apprentices and repops, a tough encounter all round. Worth it though, I don't have to do the horrid Sewer Trials now
Last night we decided to attack the Arbiter of Earth and gain entry to Ragrax (PoEb). Another very busy time. We went and took on Tantisala first, then went back to the ledge and began the Dust Ring, its great fun to be able to do some AoEing in the middle of a raid. I really like doing the PoE rings, hope OoW have more of this type of encounter. One of our lovely Chanters got the
shield lucky girl. Then it was off to the Arbiter, we were clearing in as quickly as we could because of the timer and got a spread out a bit, which meant that the adds took a bit of a toll on us, but we pulled it back together and in the end it was not such a dificult fight, as luck would have it there are 54 flags on the Arbiter for PoEb and we had 54 in the raid, ipso facto, 54 very happy little chappies
