Long have I been a detractor of 3rd party software, afk botting, and general cheating / immoral behavior. I have personally tracked down and /petitioned the names of at least enough toons to fill up an entire notebook. I can not say for sure that a single one of them was ever banned, even tho afk play is specifically and explicitly listed as forbidden in the EULA.

Recently, at the provocation of those who constantly reap the ill-gotten fruit of afk botting and cheating, I spoke out - perhaps a bit more harshly than usual. Without missing a beat and within a matter of seconds, my account was suspended. As far as I know, it is still suspended - frankly I wouldn't know for certain because I have uninstalled EverQuest and would sooner do terrible unspeakable things rather than pay for the kind of hypocritical and undeserved treatment I have received from DayBreak EVER AGAIN.

Furthermore, I have been unable to log onto the DayBreak forums to even bring up the most basic of questions about why what happened... did happen. I have invested large amounts of time and money into this game and frankly... I am ashamed to admit that. My loyalty and hard earned dollars seemingly mean absolutely nothing to Daybreak... not compared to the presumable fantastical amounts of income that cheating and afk must bring in for them.

Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I announce my complete resignation from this awful cancerous game. If tyrannical rule under greedy and immoral sacks of fecal matter is your thing, I implore you to keep up your monthly subscriptions. I, for one, will never line the pockets of these hypocritical bastards ever again.

If you broke a forum rule and got a suspension it likely wasn't for very long. I don't recall, but don't you need an active account to login to the forums at Daybreak?

The person monitoring that is likely a different person(s) than would be dealing with in game issues.

You may very well have provided information that led to a much better gaming experience for others.

If the game isn't fun, quitting makes sense.

Where did you 'speak out' at? Also I just ignore the afk/cheaters and 3rd party users unless they are making it so I can't progress doing what I need/want to do. It's a game and there will be those who abuse the rules but I guess I am too old to get worked up about it.
Good luck to you,
:)
